Let's Try Cartomancy: Divination with Playing Cards: A Taster Guide for Beginners (Let's Try Taster Guides)

Easy to read, covers the basics...
I'm just learning to read playing cards and this book is very helpful for those starting out. I had to change the elemental associations to match mine from the Hedgewytch method, but otherwise it's in alignment with the teachings of Dawn Jackson and just adds some nuances and extra meanings.

Great Introduction to Cartomancy
As an adult, I've always been somewhat curious about a few divination techniques. My primary interest has mainly been with Tarot, Cartomancy, and Lenormand readings. So, when I recently came across Let's Try Cartomancy by Ann J. Clark, I decided to read it.Let's Try Cartomancy by Ann J. Clark is a short, fast read at 72 pages in length. It's a great book for beginners new to cartomancy and want a basic guidebook that includes the history of cartomancy, the meaning of each individual card, and how to do several 52 or 32 card spread readings.

Very little sense in the explanations
I am experienced in cartomancy with 24 cards. The books explains 52 cards and 32 cards readings. Problem is that reading the meaning of cards makes no sense. The information is jumbled up with no structure. Sometimes even polar opposites are included in the explanation of the cards. On the 32 cards readings there is a mention of reversals. I would very much like to know how a court card on a typical plating deck could be interpreted as being reversed when the images are perfect mirror of each other top/bottom. Literally 3/4 of this book makes no sense. Wouldn't really recommend buying it, to be honest.
