3000 square feet, might as well claim 10,000 or 20,000. Heck lets make it 100,000. Actual square footage = 800. How do I know ? Well I have another oscillating sprinkler that claims to get 3600 square feet of coverage and it gets (drum roll) 3600 square feet. Same connection , same hose, same water pressure, same location . Only variable was the sprinkler . It'll water a 20'x20' patch going one direction and a 40'x20' patch on full. On the plus side , the sprinkler does have a nice pace so it'll really lay down the water on your 800 sq. ft patch.

I gotta say, this thing is terrible. I have had many such sprinklers over the years, and they could always be adjusted from way-right to way-left and any range in between. Good luck with this one. Out of the box, it didn’t have the nozzle cleaner as described. I placed it in my yard with the limits set wide open and it went slightly left and way right. I had to force the spray arm to align it to the middle of its range, but the best I ever got was mid left to mid right. Is it really that hard to design a sprinkler based on 50 year old technology? I mean was this the best they could do? SMH :(

It does get you wet while trying move it to hit the spots its missing but hey that's half the fun of it

I am very pleased. It is exactly what I need to control watering in different size lawn area. Very easy to adjust to cover any area.

This oscillating sprinkler works great in our small yards - front and back.

Works fine. Just expected something more sturdy.

I get a good coverage watering our lawn and my two year old daughter loves playing in the water.

Some products are light weight and too complex. This one works like the ones from the 50's. The metal and plastic construction is solid. The sprinkler is easy to use and care for. It is just what I needed.
