Blade Assembly with Drive Socket Kit Blender Replacement Parts for Vita-Mix 1151 1152 Wet Blade Fit 5200

After a bunch of searching for a replacement for our vitamix, we settled on this one. Great choice, easy install, and our blender works great again.

It was easy to install. Removing the old blade assembly was a little tricky but not too hard. Once that was removed, installing the new one was a breeze. Works great.

The media could not be loaded. SUESS brand blade installed easily and fit OK. Driver did not fit well on base, so I kept the Vitamix original. Used occasionally for less than a year. Today, the blade failed spectacularly at high speed, jamming briefly after which my drink and ball bearings flowed out the bottom of the container. I hope this hazardous failure didn't ruin my expensive Vitamix. I'm glad no one was injured!

I never used my dry blender but wanted an Extra smoothie blender so i ordered this blade and was Great to have an extra container, works Great

I ordered not one but two sets but the drive is no good there should be a steel socket at the top and at the bottom , the steel socket is there at the bottom it's just plain rubber , I am very disappointed I had to reuse the old one. As for the blade it is as expected .

The blade and gasket fit nicely on my Moms Montell Williams blender. The receiver was not used because it didn't allow the blender carafe to sit flush on the base.
