Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Board Review Series) 1st Edition

They are allright. Can help with few things, however sometimes they like the details needed for the boards as also they are FULL of mistakes. I have taken a quick look on them so far and found over 10 mistakes.As for the details, Xeroderma pigmnentosum is an example that comes to mind. All they say is that it's due to a DNA repair mechanism mutation....Well everybody knows that! which one of them is what the card should have included (Nucleotide excision)For mistakes: they have cimetidine as a H1 blocker, Digeorge as a 22p deletion, they classified erythromycin with aminoglycosides....They should definitely issue new cards to replace the mistakes they have.

These flash cards do NOT help (in my opinion) students in molecular biology or biochemistry courses. So I was disappointed here.USMLE stands for United States MEDICAL Licensing Exam. THESE ARE MEDICAL FLASH CARDS!!! They deal with disorders and diseases related to molecular biology and biochemistry.I did not like the cards: they are not what I wanted. But I didn't pay attention to the description: I can't fault the product for my misunderstanding. I believe that if someone is studying for a medical (USMLE or other) exam dealing with molecular biology and biochemistry that these cards would probably be helpful: hence, I rated them a 4.
