Sign is easy to assemble, easy to read but material is poor quality. Very quick was broken and damaged by probably human not dogs .

We had a problem with dog walkers in our neighborhood not picking up after their dog(s) recently. I don't know exactly what had changed . . maybe a new neighbor or a neighbor with a new pet. Either way, there was a significant increase in the amount of dog waste we encountered on our 2x daily walks with our lab. It was disgusting to keep encountering messes on our walk when we were always so diligent about picking up after our pet - but mostly we felt bad for the home owners who were faced with the having to clean up after other peoples pets. I bought these signs and posted them along the most commonly traveled sidewalks in our neighborhood, spacing them about every other house. After just one week we saw a significant improvement and now nearly 6 months later we very rarely encounter left over messes and the signs still look as good as the day we placed them. Only one home owner has removed the sign in their yard (after the problem was resolved) and the other home owners move and replace them when they mow their lawns. Overall . . these were worth the price to fix the problem!

I guess I should have paid more attention to the description because these signs are made of some sort of think styrofoam type material. I knew they were not metal but thought possibly plastic of some kind. They are easy to read, easy to install but I doubt they would last very long. Especially if you live in a climate that has snow , high winds or lots of rain. I am in the latter. These sign are a snap to put together and install if you are looking for a temporary sign or live in a mild climate. They are visible without being too intrusive on your landscaping. And since the metal wires that go into the ground are easy to pull out one could relocate them if desired. Downside is that if you have kids in your neighborhood that like to mess with your yard you could end up losing a sign or two.I have since purchased a couple metal signs which yes, are a bit more work to install but should last for years and years. I will give these to a friend who owns a brewery and needs to remind his clients to pick up after their dogs.One of the metal signs I purchased off Amazon is this one. Been very happy with. Nice product... my second set! The printing on the signs wore off after constant use for over two years.

I purchased these to put around my neighborhood in common grassy areas where people don't seem to pick up after their dogs. They arrived in great shape, the two pieces separate. It was easy to put the sign on the metal post. It was easy to stick them into the ground around the neighborhood. They've held up great to weather and elements. They've been up for months but look like I just put them out. I was looking for this exact style at my local hardware and big box stores, but no one carried this style. They had other styles but one sign was the price of this pack of four. Would highly recommend these.

You have to insert the sharp metal inserts so careful not to stick yourself. The poster portion isplastic and will withstand rain and sun I suppose. I see less poop in my neighborhood after I put upabout 5 of them. People can be so ignorant or inconsiderate.. the poop is not only unsightly and stinky,it gets washed into the storm drains and into our creeks and into the bay... the local water board say thatone of the biggest problem in our bay besides pesticides (weed killers primarily but also insect killers) oil from cars and heavy metals from cars are from pet poop, particularly dog poop. The bacteria, referred to as fecal coliform,is very toxic to water organisms.

These signs are easy to read from a distance and the colours are vibrant enough, but they’re almost totally destroyed by rodents who have been very much enjoying chewing on the plastic at the bottom.
