My lungs are pretty big sissies, I'd typically wheeze if I have more than 4 smokes in a day, but I grew to like taking a break from everything and just having a smoke, so i typically go half a pack up to a pack a day. I’d usually have a hard time breathing (history of asthma as well; I know I’m super smart) with wheezing and chest discomfort. With the filters the smokes remotely affect me at all! I have been able to smoke a pack and a half and can equate the feeling afterwards to smoking about 6 cigs without the filter. I gave some to my girlfriends mother who text me a few days later to say she tried a smoke without a filter "…and nearly died". The filters allow you to still get a taste of the smokes which is nice, the filters also lessen the burn on the back of the throat (gets pretty warm but major difference if you pull on the smoke hard). I have been sharing with all smokers I know that wish to quit or even enjoy smoking but wish to negate most of the negative effects (they mooch these filters more than actual cigarettes lololol). This may not keep you safe from cancers, COPD in the long run (I have no heard of any tests suggesting as much) however I can definitely say this product has made the immediate negative effects of smoking negligible, even though I smoke a pack a day I don’t have any more problems breathing deep. It supposable filters UP TO 90% (I don’t care for the UP TO Monicker but I can attest it helps A LOT, and its visible noticeable even after the first smoke)If you want to wane off smokes, wish to smoke without the immediate negative effects, spare your teeth of the extra tar causing stains I'd highly recommend this product (other products of the same nature apparently work similar, i do not have experience with any other brands though). *CLEANING* You can pop out the little yellow piece, place it in alcohol (90%) and then clean with a q-tip, I typically rinse it off with water through a strainer and let it sit for a night or two. I have been successful in cleaning up to 3 times per unit; however the alcohol will make the plastic brittle, saves a bit of money on an already cheap product for the health benefits. **CONS** The only CON I can think of is smokes sometimes slip out. I smoke camel crushes (regular) and if the cig moves around the filter too much (you have to force it to do so) it may fall out. Although this should be considered a pro, when cleaning 5 or more filters, THEY REEK. Smells really bad, however all that tar/nicotine is not going into your lungs, "just deal with it".

Love these filters wont smoke without them. I change mine with each cigarette although they state can be used numerous times. Doesnt change the taste or draw.

Ive purchased several different kinds of filters and these are the best ones! I can get a nice drag off the cigarette and see how much nicotine and tar are being stopped from the filter. The thing to know when comparing the filters is they have a different amount of holes to collect and stop the tar. these have 4 holes in the filter. The other ones I have tried have 8 holes and seem a bit harsher. They do take a little getting used to because the cigarette feels lighter at first but the coughing is gone now. I have also shared these with other smokers and have them hooked as well. They are definitely worth a try. You really have only to feel better!

I really like these so far. I have noticed a slight increase in lung function. You can really see the tar they take out and im pretty sure they take out a decent amount of nicotine. I smoked a cigarette without one and got a serious buzz after using them for about 3 weeks. One thing i have noticed is keeping one that is used but still good for a few more in your pocket makes the tar leak a bit. That may be because i live in florida and the heat+humidity causes it but still its not pleasant getting tar on your lips. All in all its well worth the asking price and I will probably order some more when i run out.

I've been using these on and off for a few years. To answer a few of the questions: It is in fact slightly harder to draw a drag, but not enough to bother significantly. It does not smell significantly when you keep a few in your pocket. A VERY small amount. Works pretty good on 5 or so cigs. Be prepared when you FIRST start using them to have a few weeks of extra coughing, it is your lungs clearing out of extra tar, because once you start using it, you are not continuously adding more and more tar, it's less in your lungs, and your lungs will start to try and heal. So in order for your lungs to start to heal, it will try and dispel the tar already in there. I have also noticed, because the cartridges are taking some of the chemicals out etc...your body will naturally want to smoke a little more - be prepared to smoke only "slightly" more, unless you discipline yourself not to. These are great - especially if you want to have increased cardio-vascular function. I've noticed, now that I'm starting to work out again, AND using these, my lung function is MUCH better on walking/running!

Tarblock Cigarette Filters 10 Pack ; Tarblock Cigarette Filters I have tried several other brands of cigarette filters and, though some of the others are also pretty good, these Tarblock disposable cigarette filters I have found, personally, to be the very best. They fit to a T on my cigarettes, you can definitely see the tar building up in them, and I can definitely feel the difference now. For example, I recently tried to smoke without them and I literally could not. I now have to use them; I view this as a good sign that I cannot handle a cigarette without a filter, which indicates to me that they are doing their job, just as described. Also, they are the one brand that when I inhale, I personally can feel absolutely no difference and do not feel like I'm smoking air or ultra light cigarettes. So much so that, at first, I didn't think they were working or doing anything. But, like I mentioned above, they most certainly are! I sure wish I could quit, but until then, I will be using these Tarblock filters. And, the seller, WholesaleUSA, has repeatedly been absolutely wonderful, too! Hope this helps :-)
