I had the unfortunate experience of using standard shims to put a door up. They make it look so easy to do. But shims SUCK. I hate them so much.This door hanging kit honestly changed my life. I LOVE IT. Makes door hanging SOOOO easy. The first door that I tried hanging with shims took me a couple hours to hang. With this kit, I was able to hang 6 doors in the same amount of time as the shimmed door. I hung those doors in 2017, and they still work great.I just recently bought these again to hang french doors. These french doors are HEAVY. The door hangers worked great, and I was able to adjust them to get it perfect. I couldn't have done that with dumb shims. I added a couple extra 3" screws through the door hinge holes just to make sure it was nice and sturdy.If you don't hang doors on a regular basis, then I would highly recommend these. It will change your life.

This made getting the door in place and set and level so easy. I only used them inside and not outside. I did feel the door was still too shaky (reason for 4 stars) so I also nailed the frame in and then foam sealed. Using a nail gun I was able to hide the nails behind the weatherstripping and them not be seen. But definitely recommend for the initial setup but not enough by it self in my opinion. They also hide under 1 1/2” door trim.

I hang a 8 ft door by myself in less than a half hour. Aligned perfectly with even gap all the way around. Door opens and closes perfect on first attempt! Wish I discovered this product years ago!

When you hang a door with these you can literally push on the door frame and it will move because the brackets are thin and bend easily. It's possible that after installing the door trim it might help with this a little but I just didn't feel confident so I removed them and installed the door using the tried and true shim method. I would rather not have the door go out of whack later down the road causing the door to not open or close properly.

I used these EZ-Hang brackets on my exterior garage metal door. I used a kit and a half to give it a more secure installation since the door is made of metal. Easy installation!

These kits are great! they make hanging the pre hung doors easier, the result is so much cleaner and NO shims! Also, my doorse are solid alder wood and the look and work GREAT!Thank you!

these are just great made hanging doors so easy...instructions were so straightforward...recommend this product
