The Forest in the Clouds

I bought before a trip to CR cloud forest. I didn't have time to read a lot before trip and this book gave me a lot of info and the pictures gave me a clue to the coloring of the place.

I really wanted to like this book, but it really is extremely technical and specific for kids. It really goes into the types of animals and how they live, so if that's what you're looking for it's great! But I was looking more for a book for little kids explaining the cloud forest and animals in a more fun way....

Fun for my 9 year old granddaughter.

Perfect for 4 - 9 years old intro to the wonders of the Rainforest!My Elemenatay School teacher friend thinks this is great, well done!

ok small kids book

I've actually been to Costa Rica in Monteverde to see the cloud forest (only 2-3% of the world's forests are cloud forests) and this book is spot on. I bought one as a gift and one for myself. Great resource for kids very informative. Illustrations alone are worth it. I honestly wish I had this book before I went.
