They look like they will last even longer than the prescription ones
These are very affordable orthotic inserts that are very similar to the prescription ones I got for $125 ten years ago. They look like they will last even longer than the prescription ones. The only issues I'm having is they are so much stiffer than the Rx ones, and even though I remolded one of them, they still are taking a while to get used to. And I had overlooked that they aren't advised for sandals, which is something I had hoped to use them with, but that's not a deal killer. Also, they need to come with step-by-step photo image instructions demonstrating how to make the mold from start to finish. They should make a short YouTube video for how to mold the things to your feet, too. Because I had to do it all by guessing and trial & error, it took me a few weeks before I finally decided to try it with no instructive images demonstrating the process. I had to redo one and it's still probably going to need to be redone again. The first time one of them I got the instep too high so my foot was aching while the other one was fine. What I like is they are very affordable and once I get it right I expect it will do exactly what a good orthotic insert should. What I don't like is it's a stiffer material (hard plastic) than I would have liked compared to the prescription one I had which was made of one layer of leather and another layer of supportive material that was like a synthetic rubbery, stiff leather substance that had some give and was very cozy to wear. I didn't even need a breaking-in phase for those like they always recommend. But for these Corefit orthotic inserts I'm definitely going to.Update: I don't know who voted this review as unhelpful nor do I know how anyone can be more descriptive or honest regarding the pros and cons of a product. If it helped you decide, please kindly give a positive vote and thank you. :-)

Amazing for people with high arches!
Several years ago I purchase my first pair of these after I had to go to a podiatrist that said to me "wow! You have amazingly high arches"! Who knew?!?!Even before hearing that, I suffered from low back pain and had always used insoles in my tennis shoes. I used store-bought insoles because I'm on my feet "all day" at work and my feet felt tired and achy regardless of the shoes I wore. Store bought insoles helped a bit but never to the point of relief that I have now.I bought these thinking it's a little odd that you boil them but was in such pain, I was willing to try almost anything. Wow! What a difference they have made for me! I boil them for 5 minutes, and wearing a sock, I pull it out of the boiling hot water and using a dish towel I press it all over my foot to make it conform to MY foot. I leave them on the counter to dry and cool off overnight. The next morning they go back into my shoes and I'm ready to go again. After some time (about every 2 to 3 months maybe??) they will start to squeak. That's the signal that they are loosing the strength needed to support your weight and they need to be reboiled. I can't count how many times I've boiled them and they are holding just as strong as when I got them. I have had a few instances where I didn't have these insoles with me and had to do a lot of walking or standing. The pain was intense. From my knees to my low back. I had no idea how much having my arches supported would help my back but it's amazing to feel the difference! To me, the price seemed high for a pair of insoles, but at $15 - $20 for the store-bought kind, these will quickly pay for themselves, many times over. I even finally convinced my dad, the guy who I got my high arches from, to try a pair of these in his work shoes. At 79, he is on his feet all day (on concrete floors no less) at a big-box home improvement store and he loves them!Try them! You won't be disappointed!

Quality product!
I have tried MANY insoles. I have narrow feet and need to wear safety toe shoes. I am often on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day. So, a number of issues to deal with. Oh, and I'm 65 years old. This is THE FIRST product I've ever had that actually works for me! I never knew about them until recently and then I was sceptical so I waited for several weeks before buying them. I then wore them for several weeks before writing this because I wanted to be sure of their value to me. I am satisfied that they work. I highly recommend giving them a try

Easily disfigured
You can mold it with your fingers and the heat of feet make it malleable. Absolutely insane price for something you have to continually fix

Corefit magic
I was a bit wary of buying such an expensive item and not knowing if it would work. I have followed the instructions and have been wearing them in my shoes for a few days and the difference is amazing. Relief at last. .I have plantar faciitis and hear spur and the pain from the plantar was affecting a knee. This has all started to abate and I am hopeful that with exercise and the insoles I will make a good recovery. Thank you. I am so glad I took a chance. they are what they say on the label. Brilliant!

These seemed very strong and easy to mould to your foot
These seemed very strong and easy to mould to your foot. However, they are too short for me - they didn't reach the ball of my foot, so the ball was forced outward and rubbed on the shoe; on both feet! I returned them and got a full refund.

Narrow
Too narrow so was never able to use it and it's not returnable

A real review from a real user with years of usage
Update Nov 2021: Wow, have I ever changed my opinion on these things since I bought them. I leave my review at 4 stars as I still do not use them without a thin comfort layer insert between them and my feet. The front edge has always been a problem to mold into a way that doesn't cause pain. That may be due to my own feet and their length, width, build etc. However these things outperform both of my $500 custom made orthotics sets easily. I stand and walk all day long and my arches are not hating me as anymore as they seem to suffer less fatigue than the custom designed ones from my doctor. If you suffer stinky feet issues you can easily wash these inserts.Initial review: Cost factor is amazing but.....I have been trying so hard to get them to fit correctly. The front edge always ends up being painful no matter how many times I try to remold it.Update Feb 2020: I have tried to remold them so many times but I just cannot get the front edge to sit comfortably under my foot. They are now given up on.Update July 2021: So I kept trying to make them comfortable without 100% success. However I ended up putting a pair of cheap/thin inserts over them to handle the comfort issue. I have worn them for 60 hour work weeks ever since.Update Sept 2021: They are still going strong. I just changed the thin insert I use above them and they work excellently still.
