The vast majority of these are commons mixed in with rares, and there are some duplicates (though not to excess, typically no more than three per 500-card case), but it's still the best idea to hand-pick anything specific that would be worth more on another site like TCGplayer.com, where you can get any missing cards you need for your deck.Still, for simply having a foundation with which to get back in the game, this is an outstanding value. All of the cards are very modern, and many form the basis for newer, highly-effective decks. I received a variety of archetypes and other useful cards, including Fortune Ladies, Dragon Rulers, Inzektors, Infernities, Earthbound Immortal (supports), and some inexpensive, yet still useful cards if used correctly, such as Mirror Force, various modern Equip Spells, counter-traps (including Dark Bribe and MST), and a myriad of other deck-basis-cards that can be quite useful for the versatile Duelist.A good strategy if you really want to get back into the game is to use this huge pack of modern cards (some Rare, mostly Common, for the most part), and then hand-pick the other cards that you need on TCGPlayer.com to finish up your deck. For that purpose, this massive pack is a must.Not to mention the excitement of getting so many new cards at once without knowing what you're getting, which is always fun for anyone who knows the joy of opening Booster Boxes. With 500 modern cards to sort through, the same excitement applies, and with a little extra work, most modern archetypes can be completed, as well as any kind of unique deck you may decide to try.Great value for the money. Obviously, don't expect a lot of expensive cards, since they very likely won't be there, but that isn't the point. This is a foundation for most modern decks, and it works wonderfully as such.Just be sure to pick from the most reputable seller, as the cards will certainly vary by seller. It is highly recommended you use a highly-regarded seller like CoreTCG or Super Games, both of which are very reputable and certainly won't send you total garbage.If you want to get back in the game, or if you're starting for the first time, this is the package to get. Excellent value for the price, and definitely worth more than a Booster Box, as it will certainly have fewer duplicated and a lot more variety across many different Booster Sets.

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT FROM THE DESCRIPTION IS FALSE: "Most of the commons will be different and few if any will have more than 3 copies (the most allowed in a tournament deck). "As when I sorted my cards I received many cards having 9 to 13 duplicate cards. Now can you tell me how that is light duplication them having only 3 cards I am sorry but no that's is massive duplication. And I would recommend not getting this it may seem like a good Dela but you will be getting tons of duplicate cards. There are better sellers out there but if you do buy it I hope you have better luck.

I bought 2 of these sets in hopes to really start building a collection. At 500 cards for ~16$, it didn't seem like a bad idea. Turns out that I would be severely disappointed.Bad things... Some of the cards are in really terrible condition. I had about 25 cards that had rips, tears, or were folded in several places to leave scars on the card. about 5 of the cards had scribbles on them with pen, as if a kid got to them. More than 35% of the cards would be considered in the "Played" condition, meaning that the edges have a bit of wear of them (To the point of being visible, which is NOT in the "near-mint / mint" condition, nor is it a "vast majority" as they claim). This is false advertisement number 1.Second, Duplications. Despite saying that there will be light duplications, I received a lot. Meaning that even in the single pack of 500, I got 16 "XYZ Double Back". The the other pack, I received "11 Trap Holes". Now, I wouldn't be so picky about it if it were at least distributed out among the box set, but both the XYZ Double Back and the Trap Holes were in consectutive order inside the box, not even trying to hide the duplication from when I opened the box. From the naked eye as I was looking through them, I had at least 12 other cards that were duplications above 6 counts. most of them divided between Tyrant trap cards and Madolche spell/trap cards. This is beyond light duplication as they claim. This is false advertisement number 2.The worst offender would be that I received no holos, nor even rares. (Silver holofoil letters or Black-foil letters are considered rare, while Holofoil backgrounds are considered Super Rare.) In a pack of 1000 cards, I did NOT receive a single rare or super rare. Considering this is also mentioned and suppose to be one of things that catches the eye of the customer, I feel that this is a bad insult on the consumers. This is fasl advertisement number 3.With the good part. In a pack of 1000, I found about 20 cards that I consider particularly useful or good, with about 4 of them which considered worthy in putting in some of my spare decks and extras. But when you think about it, having 2% of a two set be even close to consideration is kind of bad...If possible, I would definitely avoid this set. I'm already printing stuff for returns. I'm not particularly pleased with the result of this package, which is hard to do since I'm generally fair and easy to please.
