Prior to getting physical therapy, I used this pillow to help me sleep on my back, and it seriously helped alleviate not only back pain but also jaw pain. I clench and grind my teeth at night, and though I use a guard, that only protects my teeth--it does nothing to stop my aching jaw. Sometimes I'd wake up with a headache from grinding my teeth all night!But this pillow helped keep me on my back throughout the night, and I found that keeping my back in alignment also helped my jaw a little. I still needed physical therapy, obviously, but this pillow helped take the unending back, neck, and jaw pain down to a tolerable level.I didn't find it comfortable to sleep on this pillow on my side at all, though. This is strictly a back pillow, and it helped me stay on my back despite my usual tossing and turning. What I did was to nestle the skinny part of the pillow in between my head and upper back/shoulders, so it supported my neck. Basically the same as lying on your back without a pillow, but with neck support. Then I would pull the bottom two pointy ends on top of my shoulders, which caused me not to roll over on to my side throughout the night. I would also put a small pillow under my knees to keep my back well aligned. I hadn't had such glorious sleep in months!

Quite a comfortable pillow. I decided to try this pillow based on the price and the reviews. I’m glad I did! Nice size with I’d say a slight firmness. It was packaged very well and with no bad smells to it. It came with a pillow case also. I’m please with this purchase!

Not as comfortable and I was hoping for.

This cervical pillow was delivered April 19, 2024 by Amazon. I used it for one night and then sought to return it because it was lumpy and very lopsided with lots more filling on one side. I went through the protocol as usual with returns ; however, Amazon gave me only limited choices of how to solve my problem . One option was to rip out the stitching and refill it and stitch it back up. Another option which I chose was to call the company to resolve the problem. There was a voicemail giving me an email to contact. The email didn’t go through because it was nonexistent. Later Amazon contacted me to see if I got my problem with the product solved and I responded “No.” And that was the end of that. The pillow now sits on my dining room table in its packaging. There is no way I would recommend anyone to buy this specific pillow , maybe a different one but not this one.

I decided to keep it because it does have a nice shape and allows me to sleep on my back pretty comfortably - with support. I can sort of sleep on my side, but my ear will start hurting. It is the cheapest bunched up stuffing they would find. Seriously, I am going to get a better pillow and use this one as a guide to cut a regular pillow up and make my own. The pillow case is like sand paper.

I have a hard time finding a pillow that is confortable. I discovered this pillow while browsing and decided to try it. It has turned out to be winderful and so comfortable! I ordered another to have an extra, as well as an extra pillow case since the shape is specialized and comes with a custom pillow case. If you have tried to ease your aching neck with a confortable pillow, it’s worth trying this one. It is flat (as my physical therapist recommends) and the shape works great. Good luck I hope you too will find relief.

This pillow, unfortunately, doesn’t provide proper neck support. Points for effort and for including a pillow case.

Love these pillows we both have neck pain and stiffness these are so comfortable to positions that help take the strain off, we sleep so great with these and our neck are definitely not so stiff and painful any more. I started with ordering one for myself then my husband tried it and he loved it so I ordered another then we ordered two more for our motor home so we don't have worry of forgetting to take them with us

I've tried so many pillows and they all leave my neck scrunched up all night. Even contour pillows lift my head way too much. For a while I was sleeping either with no pillow or a blanket rolled up under my neck. But then when I wanted to lay on my side, I had to pull my other pillow around. I thought "I wish I could find a pillow with a narrow center, and wide sides for when I sleep on the side." And voila! A butterfly shaped pillow! The center is wider than I thought it would be, but the traction actually feels very nice. And when I want to move to my side I don't have to adjust any pillows around. It's so comfortable on so many levels! And the price is great. Try this is you are having trouble with all the other pillows.

Much bigger than I thought. Did not work for my neck.

I am so glad I bought this pillow. I've wasted a lot of money trying to find a good pillow. I am a back sleeper and this pillow supports my neck and I pull the 'wings' out over my shoulder and they support my head when it moves to either side. I've tried really expensive pillows that didn't work but I found the best for the least amount of money. I am really happy with my purchase and my restful sleep.

I love this pillow so much. It’s perfect if you want some extra neck support when you are sleeping. You can also get your shoulder right under the pillow. I haven’t had any neck pain since I bought it!

Pillow was purchased for a quadriplegic with neck pain. It seems to work well for him. Takes a little time to get used to but after about a week no complaints. You have to fluff it up and reshape in the Center where it holds the neck It’s great for repositioning so it’s proven comfort when sleeping on back or sides.The issue we have is that it only has one pillow case and have found that it is shrinking even though we hang to dryWould be nice to have a couple of extra cases.
