BD Diesel Performance 773540-5001 Turbocharger, Garrett Stage 1 Gt3794Va - Chevy 2004.5-2010 Duramax

I had an option to purchase this same level turbo from many other vendors online. I am happy that the seller is using Amazon for the selling of this product so I was able to use my Amazon card with a No Interest Promo. :)Aside from that, the turbo installed is fantastic. Nice loud whistle. Take note, that the stock turbo will have better low end, but this one has a much better top end. I hit 120MPH without even knowing I was over 80. Smooth, constant power delivered through this Stage 1 unit. Very nice. Just after install, I took a 1400 mile trip. Absolutely no issues, other than putting my foot into it more than I should have :PThe packaging and instructions given were perfect. Had I not received the instruction sheet, I may not have pre-oiled it as I have never swapped, or even worked on a turbo in the past (even though I was a mechanic in the 1990's). If you're going to want to save $3500 in labor costs, be prepared to take the time to do this swap. While it wasn't easy, it is NOT necessary to remove the cab from the truck. Yes, much easier if you could, but only if you have a lift and space. The turbo doesn't require much aside from removing everything in the way on the truck, so nothing more to worry about with your purchase than getting a set of gaskets, which you can purchase much cheaper in a kit here on Amazon as well.Enough said, but the short of it is.. This is proving to be a great unit and speaking from someone with 2000 miles driven since installed.

Factory level response with much higher airflow. 2007 LBZ on stock injectors made 603RWHP @36 Psi with KB3MMX tuning and this Powermax Turbo combination..with only a 2450us pulse

This thing really whistles!! Great turbo! Was setting turbo codes all fixed now!
