Husband has size 12 foot and these fit fine. He was in hospital and these are much thicker and nicer than hospital socks. Kept his feet warm and helped him not slip.

I'm usually a size 9.5 or 10 shoe with 3E width. I'm the kind of person who constantly walks around in bare feet because I don't like the feel of regular socks. Not that I hate socks, I just prefer being bare footed. The first floor of my home has mostly hard surface floors, wood and tile and I have a crawl space underneath so my floors get cold in the Winter. So I was looking for something I could easily slip on that didn't feel tight like regular socks can. I ordered the size 8-12 and these fit me perfectly. They aren't loose but they aren't tight and they feel good on my feet. I'm having trouble understanding the people complaining these are too tight. I think these people either bought the wrong size or they must have REALLY big feet. Maybe a size 12 or bigger they might feel tight but these socks are stretchy so I can't see how anyone would have trouble getting them on. These are NOT thermal socks. They keep my feet warm from the cold floors but these are not what you want to get if you are looking for protection from real cold. The pads on the bottom seem to be really nice and will certainly help to prevent skidding or slipping, but again they are slipper socks, so don't expect them to totally prevent an older person from falling... you need shoes to do that. So far I am happy with my purchase, time will tell how good the quality of the material is. If these break down rapidly, I'll come back and update my review. They feel comfortable. The material isn't scratchy. They are definitely ankle height and no higher. No rough spots or seams that feel uncomfortable inside. As of right now, I'd recommend them. I purchased the 3 pack with grays and blacks (the set with no other colors) *** Update *** So,it's been about 2 weeks since I got these and I'm having some doubts. Now I received 3 pair but I've only worn two of the three pair. Today I noticed that one of the sock has developed a hole in the heal. Just to confirm, I don't do anything crazy in these socks, I don't wear them outside, I don't play basketball in them. I wear them in my home, which has carpet and hardwood floors. To have one of these socks develop a hole in the heel in two weeks is not a good sign. I will keep an eye on them and update this review if things continue to go bad. I have not lowered my rating yet.

Great socks ! I bought several pairs of these for my husband who is unsteady in his feet when he walks and these have made a big difference in taking steps and being able to not slip on the floor. Wearing shoes is cumbersome for him and walking with these have really helped him feel secure. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone. Fit in great. The grip is excellent.

I love these slipper socks with the bottom non-skid grippers. They are thick and very soft and easy to put on .

I needed some socks with grips, and tried using the tube sock style often given out for medical procedures. They didn’t fit that well, and if I wore them to bed in case I needed to get up in the night, they either came right off my foot OR twisted so the grips were on the top of the sock. So I looked for alternative and found these. Love that they are 85% cotton, a nice weight - not too thick or thin, nice design in the fabric including the little embroidery on the ankle, great fit. The ankle is snug but not tight, and the sock has a well-defined foot / heel. They do not come off in the night or wind up with the grips on top of my foot. I’m so happy to have found these socks.

I give these 3 stars only because they run small. Otherwise, they are nice and cozy and appear to be sturdy socks - even after several machine wash and dries. That said, these worked well for DH after his knee surgery when one foot was a bit too swollen to wear shoes, but he needed secure footing on our hardwood floors. DH wears a size 11 shoe and I ordered the size 11.5 -14 size sock. Good thing. They just fit his puffy foot - and three weeks after surgery with puffiness gone, they are still just the right size. He says they run short for the stated shoe, and he can't imagine how anyone with feet larger than his would find these fitting comfortably. I wear a woman's size 8.5 shoe and I find them pretty perfect for me (have just a bit of room). Given that they are not snug on my feet, I think these 11.5-14 size would easily stretch to fit a woman's size 9.5 (maybe up to size 10.5?) comfortably. I highly recommend the product, just not the designated shoe sizes.
