Great Product
Ordered with 12 inch base plate and the fit perfectly. Allows for free standing application and Chauvet DJ 56 Par Can lights fit perfectly in base. Good quality product...lightweight enough to be mobile on stage.

Very good quality and affordable price. We have over 50 pieces of chauvet trusst with no issues.

Way overpriced
Price is ridiculous for what it is. MANY other manufacturers have identical products for 25% of this price.

Does not speak of quality, and mating to global is iffy best.
So the description says "compatible with global f34". After a quick attempt to mate up this truss to a stick of f34, I found a couple problems.First, and most importantly, the stick is actually twisted! Put it down on a flat surface and it wobbles back and forth, suggesting that the ends are not parallel. This is how mega failures happen! Go ahead, fly twisted truss, see what happens.Second, the couplers are not the same length as global, and we found that when the truss is mated, you actually have to bang the pins in far enough to put the retaining clips on. The holes drilled in the couplers are off by just enoug that it is hard to insert the pin. This also suggests there is an abnormal sheering force on the pin. Additionally, the stick was shipped to me with the couplers and pins installed, and some of the pin heads were damaged due to rough shipping. They're also in so tight that I can't get them out with my normal rubber coated mallet.Third, the cross bracing is closer together with more cross pieces per stick than the equivalent global. That suggests that the aluminum is lower grade as it cannot handle the weight load over the same span without extra support. The bigger problem however, is that it looks bad when it is mated to global, as the difference becomes immediately apparent in visual aspect. This truss is also a different color, again suggesting that the aluminum is a different grade, which further supports the lower grade and more need for cross bracing. I also ran into a problem where some pre-build gear did not fit I need this truss because of the different spacing of the cross braces. So all in all, I would highly suggest that this truss not be attached to global. If for none of the reasons above, then think about this: if your rig collapses, and you trace the problem back manufacturing of the truss, you can pretty much kiss your butt goodbye because you're going to get stuck in an endless finger pointing war between chauvet and global. For all of these reasons, I will not be using this truss with my global system. I might possibly keep it for a standalone totem or something, but as far as flying it, nope. Just.... nope.

Check for assembly match-up if you buy these!
I ordered several of each length. One issue with a 10' section that I have is one end is out of tolerance and will not match up! It is not bent but we can not tie anything into that end! Other than that, the trusses appear to be very high quality and look great!
