I originally got these because I had recently built myself a greenhouse, and wanted some exotic variety to try. I live in southern Maine, and these seeds produced beautiful sugarcane in a large container growing in my greenhouse! I planted 10 seeds accounting for probably failed germination hoping to get around 6-7, but I ended up with 10 sugarcane plants! Every single seed that I plant germinates! I hadn't ever seen any seeds before with a near 100% germination rate like these! Also when buying these I was under the impression that I was getting 45 seeds. I ended up getting around 150! They gave me many more than I thought I was getting, and I am really impressed with Robsrareandgiantseeds. I don't know if they are the world's tallest sugarcane, but they are certainly taller than me at 5'9''! This was a great value for the price, and I am glad that I now have my own homemade raw sugar!

The seeds has germinated and grown but it's not tall at all, the tallest I've got is only about 30 inches tall. The 1st picture is only 30 inches tall and the 2nd picture is only 24 inches tall, its not as expected!

Maybe I can update this later but so far, it isn't sugarcane exactly. Its some kind of cane and the seeds were great quality and grew so far about 9 ft tall. The stalks so far after many months are extremely skinny and fragile. I have stalks growing on the side of stalks that are falling off and breaking I don't know if that is normal but so far nothing looks like an actual sugar cane and I tasted the broken pieces and they don't taste sweet at all or seem like sugarcane. Maybe it has to reach a certain level of maturity so I will let it grow all it can and see if it changes later on. I will likely keep searching for some stalks that I can plant directly rather than trying from seed. I knew this was a long shot already.

Took me a while to write this review. As far as shipping and delivery, it came as expected... While the package says 8-45 days of germination, luckily I live in the high desert in California, where I was able to keep the soil warm as described, and I sowed 8 seeds and got 5 seedlings to start the process. Thank you for the seeds, I will have sugar canes to suck on for awhile. Brings me back to my childhood memories

As it is seeds i will not know for sure for several months. This is exactly as described, it arrived as promised, appears to be well made, and a good value for the money. I just wish they would put a packing slip in the package. This came in the manufacturers packaging 👍 The packaging was plain brown cardboard 👍 Limited or no plastic 👍 No polystyrene foam (styrofoam) 👍👍

Wasted a lot of materials to get them to germinate. Over a week now and only 4 seeds germinated.. don't waste your time and effort. I'm completely disappointed in these sugar cane seeds. Had to give 1 star but didn't want to.
