The price is for just one mold.

Q: how many molds are being sold for the one price? Photo shows three. What is the height of the mold...or molds as the case may be?

the price is for one cannel mold...it is very heavy and good quality. Mine is about one inch in height. One inch wide. I also have the silicone molds which work great. This is certainly a nice collection item to receive as a gift....I asked by family to purchase these if they wanted to get me the perfect gift.

The honest answer is that they are safe up to whatever temperature your home (or even commercial) oven will reach, as long as they are filled. The tin lining is on the inside, meaning it will be touching the foodstuff that is filling it, and the the temperature of ANYTHING containing water will have an incredibly difficult time crossing the threshold of 212°F due to the specific heat of water.

Q: do these turn yellow with use?

Do not know. I returned mine because the picture on Amazon showed a set and when I received my order it was only one cannele.
