Lightweight, Transformative Oil for Hair and Skin
Wow!! I love NOW essential oils, and their quality has always impressed me, so I decided to try their jojoba oil. I’m so glad I did! It has truly transformed my hair. In my super humid state, frizz is always a battle, but this oil makes such a difference. I thought I loved coconut oil (and still do), but if you’re not careful with it, your hair can get really greasy. Jojoba feels so much lighter, still nourishing but without weighing hair down. The price is also great, very reasonable for the amount you get, and a little goes a long way. I even started using it on the bumpy “strawberry skin” on my arms after reading some of the reviews here, and it worked wonders. The bumps are finally starting to fade, and my skin feels so much smoother. This has become a new staple for both my haircare and skincare routine!

It’s a great body moisturizer
I’d love this oil. This oil is great for dry skin, and it’s also great carrier oil. I like the fact that it’s organic it’s a great price. If you don’t have a natural skin store in your area, this is a great place to pick it up. I like to put this over my body lotion at night it makes my skin so soft. I let it dry for a minute so it’s not too greasy or sticky.

Great jojoba oil
This is probably one of the best moisturizing oils that you can use. It has no scent and a little goes a long way I use it on top of my moisturizer in the winter to help seal in the moisture. It is nice and non irritating. Good value for the size. This is an oil that I will always recommend.

Perfect carrier oil
I can always trust NOW brand oils. This jojoba feels like great quality, it has a nice subtle smell, and it's very light while still being moisturizing. I'm using it as a base for homemade vanilla scent, and it's working perfectly so far.

Great for cuticle care
Works well for cuticles and my dry fingers from frequent hand washing. I just wish the dispenser was designed differently; this makes a bit of a mess every time it’s closed. Oil has a neutral smell and absorbs easily.

Great product
Great product. I make a hair oil with this and a couple other oils, and I'm happy with the quality of this item. Helps keep my bleached hair moisturized without being too oily.

Totally a worthy product, with a fair share of health/body care uses!
This oil is perfect for my skin, but serves a different purpose entirely. I have a ton of piercings (ears, lobes, nipples, et cetera), and I have to use specific oils for ear piercing in a different place. I ended up discovering I had a small blowout on my right earlobe due to sizing up to a 1/2" tunnel too quickly, so I got a ton of recommendations online to size down to about a 00, and do daily Jojoba oil rubs 2-3 times a day for about three months to help it heal. This is currently in progress, and it's looking better (even though it's been only a week). I also ended up having a very bad scenario at the piercing shop I go to, due to an uneducated "sub" there. They basically tried to lacerate a small bit of keloid scarring on my lowest-right cartilage piercing and applied direct salt to it, essentially inducing chemical burn. It had a nasty large lump on it for almost 4 months afterwards, and all the sea salt soaks they recommended made it angry. I eventually did some research, and gave tea tree oil a shot for that. The scarring and lump went away within two days after one application of 100% undiluted solution. Didn't irritate my skin at all, but I don't recommend it for everyone. I recently gave a 50/50 mixture of jojoba oil and tea tree oil a shot, by applying it to the scarring. It has resurfaced a bit since that, so I've since switched back to pure tto. This Jojoba oil is amazing, but isn't for every kind of piercing, or maybe it works on different things for different people. Whatever the case may be, it's not expensive, and I HIGHLY recommend keeping a bottle around the house for daily, or even weekly use. Dab about 5-6 drops in your hands and rub them together. Apply it to freshly blow-dried hair after a shower with a good conditioner (leave conditioner in for no less than two minutes). Repeat daily for a week, and your hair will become so soft it's ridiculous. I gave it a shot and switched off using argan oil for about a week. I got the same results either way. I don't regret my purchase one bit. Get a bottle, as it has a ton of different applications. Seriously. Just look them up. PROS: 1. Has a ton of different uses. 2. The product is inexpensive. 3. Feels great on your skin and has a lot of health/care benefits. 4. You get a decent amount for your money. 5. Helps with minor skin damage from piercings. (THIS IS SUBJECTIVE FROM PERSON TO PERSON!) 6. Has no odor. Unless my sense of smell is shot, then ignore this. :) CONS: 1. Has a (near-noticable) mild grit to it, similar to emu oil. It can feel a bit weird if you notice things like that. 2. Doesn't help with all skin conditions, especially on piercings. 3. May cause irritations if you have an allergy. Do your research beforehand. This product is not hypoallergenic. OVERALL: Would I buy this again? Yes. Is it worth the price for what you get? Absolutely.

Glossy instead of greasy
This is perfect, quality golden jojoba oil. Has no smell what so ever, other than the most faint of fresh oats. It’s the least “oil” feeling and looking oil out of every single plant oil I have ever tried, both the usual carrier oils as well as many of the “exotic” precious oils. Jojoba - interestingly a liquid wax- soaks immediately into skin and hair. My favorite use for jojoba is in my hair. A little goes a long way- which is obviously a plus. My hair is wavy and long, not too unmanageable. It gets frizzy though, no doubt. I use a teeny drop of jojoba , rub it in my palms, then carefully run my fingers through the very ends of my hair first. Then pat the rest onto my frizzies. The most important thing the note about jojoba oil is this : it does not make hair look the least bit oily or greasy- it makes it look glossy (when applied with the appropriate amount). . I switch up /alternate my hair smoothers between this and chi keratin infusion . One other use I like is for a carrier oil with my chamomile CO2 and calendula CO2 extracts. Usually in a roller bottle or a glass spray bottle. Other tidbits regarding properties of jojoba oil that distinguish it from others: - Most importantly, it has a VERY long shelf life, up to 24 months, according to SwiftCraftyMonkey, a brilliant cosmetic formulator. - jojoba is one of two oils that can be “sprayed” with a regular spray bottle - the other sprayable oil being fractionated coconut oil. Another way I use jojoba is in an amber or cobalt spray bottles for using it as body oil and for my hair. It’s price is directly correlated to the amount of plant product to yield ratio, so that is why it’s considerably more expensive than other carriers. It’s worth it, a little goes a long way and it has such a long shelf life. If there is ever anyone that strongly dislikes the oily feeling yet wants to be able to use an oil based product, this is the best option. It’s like a dry oil. It does not dry my skin like coconut oil does. This particular brand Is well known, and there’s zero doubt this is anything other than pure jojoba. One last thing - this is an oil that must not be ingested under any circumstances. 🙂
