AmScope AC-B100 Aluminum Case 4 B100, M500 & Other Compound Microscopes

I bought a microscope through this company & had no problems, but when I mistakenly orderd the wrong style case it was EXPENSIVE to get the item sent back. The website is confusing on wich cases go with which models, and they treated me like an idiot over the phone. Not only did I have to pay $30 to ship the WRONG one back, I had to pay shipping and an up-charge on the correct one. If I could've gotten a case anywhere else I would have!

Does not fit the B120B scope from Amscope, despite the misleading title and product description. Appears to require the removal of any microscope head for whatever microscopes fit in there, which defeats the purpose of trying to keep my microscope in a safe, dust-free place. Amscope does not currently sell a case for my B120B, which means I'll still be looking elsewhere for something that can keep my very nice, and well-loved microscope safe while I'm out and about.

The case fits my B100B-MS and everything that came with it. It's a bit tight, but I'm okay with that because it means it won't move around inside the case.The only complaint I have is that there was some minor damage to the outside of the case upon receipt, and the tab for one of the draw latches was curled up on itself.

I believe this would have been a great product if it fit my microscope. The foam and cutouts looked like pretty good quality, but I have a B120C-E1 microscope and apparently that one isn't considered part of the "B100 series" scopes mentioned in this add. I called Amscope and they said they don't offer a case for the microscope I have. Bummer!

Excellent case-- strong, lightweight. Has a foam insert for the microscope, but be sure the model microscope you have is listed EXACTLY in the description: this case advertises it is for " B100, M500 & Other Compound Microscopes". I got a B100B-MS microscope which isn't the same as the "B100" listed. My error, but check yours out before you buy. Otherwise the case is excellent and the foam insert holds all the parts of my microscope (except for the upper unit); after a little carving with a sharp knife I even got the upper unit to sort-a' fit.

Flimsy exterior well padded interior. The hinges were loose in the rear not very well-made on the outside very thin metal interior although she was very protective of microscope.

Thank you for the very good advice from the company, I have ordered this case with my microscope but then I was advised to change into a nother case that fit very well with my microscope, I do appreciate that and I got my money back for this order.

This does not fit my scope. I contacted the seller and they said it was custom made for my scope. They said I might need to disassemble the head to get it to fit. Nothing about it fits. I feel like they sent me the wrong case and they just blew me off as if I didn't know what I was talking about! The scope and case was a gift for my wife.
