Better than expected
I purchased these to paint a bunch of boring planters in my back yard. They worked great. They are good quality; they cleaned up nicely and the different sizes, shapes, textures made for some interesting patterns. I can't wait to see what other uses I can find for them.

Somewhat on the small size.
I though this would be an assortment of sizes but they were all on the smaller size. Depending on my project I might buy again.

TO THOSE WHO THINK THE SPONGES ARE TOO TOUGH...PLEASE READ.
To soften any sponge, there is a very useful technique. Grab a bottle of pinalen pine cleaner. Soak sponges over night. Squeezes suds out and emulsify pinalen and it will soften and expand your sponges making them more pliable. This can also be done with dettol, hexol, or any pine oil product base. With hexol, a dip and squeeze session of 2 minutes, followed by a glycerin soap to cut the suds, irish springs works great....rinse with warm water and wring out to dry. Thus technique works for ANY sponge possible. I am an asmrtist, and I constantly am buying new sponges. And disinfectant in liquid form that is concentrated will work. The clean water rinse is to remove any residual product from the sponging process. Hexol is your best bet. I know this seems like alot, but a bottle of pinalen pine is 8 dollars and can soften every sponge known to man. Us ASMRtists live by this method. I hope this helps. 🙏🏻

Great quality & good variety of sea sponges
Loved the variety of sea sponges in this collection. One certainly doesn't have to question the authenticity of these just from the feel and the look of them. Yet, I broke a piece of one off and at the break line an actual seashell was sticking out. The magnitude of God's handiwork never ceases to amaze me.

Variety pack sponges work well
I bought this because I was looking for the round sponges included in this package. It was more economical to buy this package than just one round sponge so I thought I would try them. I use them for blending acrylic paint on canvas and still really like using the round smooth sponges, I tried the 2 others but they are stiff. I tried wetting them and then blending with them, but I think it is something I might have to get used to. This would be a great buy for arts and crafts with kids though, and I am very happy with the purchase. I use the 2 round sponges every day.
