Q: Can this jerky substitute for bacon at breakfast? I make my own tofu bacon but would like to find something I can prepare quickly.

No this is more of a snack. If you are vegetarian I recommend morningstar bacon strips it cooks and taste like bacon.

Q: What is the jerky made from? I cannot find ingredients anywhere, and I will not eat something I dont know what it is...

The ingredients are on the back of the bag, upper right. As listed on my Sriracha Maple Jerky: Textured soy protein, tamari, sriracha sauce, alcohol to preserve freshness, maple syrup, olive oil, spices, vinegar and natural smoke flavor. My son, the meat eater, even liked this. I think it is a really good product. Hope you like it, too!

This is not vegan bacon but rather maple bacon flavored jerky. It has 2g fiber per serving.
