Arrived dead
Arrived dead. I checked the website and it said to keep watering for a couple of weeks and it would "revive", saying the "dead" was just because of the stress of transport. But mine didn't. It never restored, it was most definitively dead

Lovely Bonsai. Highly recommend this seller
Shipped same day, arrived from 3 states over in 2 days! Very nice, lively plant, soiled and packed very well. Already wanting to buy another one to gift since my mother in law loves it so much. Figured I'd get her one for mother's Day coming up.

Packaging could be better
The plant came with broken branches the packaging material being foam peanuts the plant obviously was bounced around a lot. It's alive and I was able to trin it.

Arrived safely and so far looks to be growing
My plant arrived safely. The plant was wrapped nicely so that dirt did not fly everywhere in the box. I've had the plant for a week now and it looks to be growing. A few leaves have already dropped but I think the plant is trying to adjust to it's new surroundings.I have the plant indoors next to my south-facing window. It gets a little bit of light in the morning and then gets the sunshine from the afternoon sun. It is next to my router so hopefully it won't dry out from the air emitting from the router's vent. I placed a plate with rocks and water underneath it to keep the area humid. I've been watering it every day since it is summer and letting the water run out the holes in the bottom.Since it sits on my work desk, I can investigate it each day to make sure it's not dying or drying out. I see it has 2 buds that have not opened. I'll update again in a month to see if the buds actually flower.Update a month or so later:I updated another picture of the bonsai, a side by side view of when I first got it to now. I have to preface that I am watering the plant almost every day or every other day if I see the humidity plate is low on water. It is summer so the house does get warm and my plant is next to the router on my work desk. Also, I have been collecting the fallen leaves to show the amount of leaves I'm losing. Despite the amount of leaves im losing, I do see that the leaves are growing bigger on my plant. So I think the fallen leaves are just from my plant adjusting to the environment. This is a tree and trees do drop leaves occasionally. My tree does look sparser than the original so I'm not sure if I'm trending in the right direction. But still it does not look bad. Ill leave my rating at 5 stars for now. My plant still looks healthy. Also the buds I had originally have not bloomed. Hoping it's just going through a blooming cycle and won't just die off.

Looks healthy and happy straight out of the box
The media could not be loaded. The plant looks just like the ad except no flowers. I'm sure I will get flowers next year. The packaging was great, making sure the soil, plant, and pot arrived intact. The weather was so hot when it arrived that I kept it inside for a couple days before putting it outside. Keeping it watered every morning is not a problem. Can't wait til it's time to trim it for the first time. I do recommend purchasing a good bonsai beginners handbook if you have never owned one before.

Don't buy!
This plant started dying the first week it arrived. It did not matter how much I watered it it was not going to come alive. I decided to look at the roots to see if that was the problem. I couldn't even pull the plant out (notice the picture above). Since when do they ever wire a tree to its pot? They might secure it in there temporarily, but never with hard wire. Notice the other picture, the wires go through the root system. They must have hurt the roots while securing it in this pot. That's why ...they killed it before it even got to me! After finally untwisting the wires, I pulled the dead tree out and you could tell by the root system that they killed it! I tried writing them a letter but never heard back from them. Also, the picture shows a turquoise pot. The pot is green.Extremely disappointed!

Tree was not as described, very disappointed.
The tree arrived very well packaged and there was no damage to the pot or tree. The pot is very nice, and the tree was wired in tightly. But even though the description talked about flowering, and it was the right time for it to flower, there were only dead little flower buds and no chance they were going to do anything. There was new growth of leaves and the tree looked somewhat healthy.Very disappointed that there weren’t going to be any flowers as these Satsuki Azaleas are renowned for their flowers.I gave it a few weeks to settle in, and then decided to repot the tree, into new Bonsai soil. I was very disappointed to see the root ball was solid roots grown round and round each other as though it had never been repotted. This is supposed to be a 5 year old tree.It was very difficult to get the roots loose and I had to wash the old soil off with a hose. I used a larger pot, with mesh and wires to hold the tree in, tried to spread the roots out and filled in with new Bonsai soil.I’m not sure how it’s going to survive, after 2 weeks the old leaves are turning yellow and dropping off. Not a good sign. However there is some new growth with new leaves so maybe I can save it yet.I will not be buying any more trees this way.
