It’s a great tent but I would question one part of its description. “A much copied design.....”. Yes it was the first extended dome back packing tent to use the design method of inner tent erection to flexible poles with a throw over fly sheet. But it was not the first extended dome tent of this general size, shape, entrance at either end for additional storage. It was a brand no longer available that created this design called Phoenix, with the phredome tent. A brilliant design and quality product. The big difference was, the Phoenix believed that the outer should always be erected before the inner, to ensure you had a dry refuge to sleep inside of. So you could actually say that the Quasar was a copycat design, not true first. I have owned both and still prefer the Phoenix.
