Sibley Backyard Birding Postcards: 100 Postcards (Sibley Birds) Cards – February 5, 2013

These postcards are beautiful, with classical artword, and there are so many of them for the price! They're the smaller size of postcard, so if you want to write a sermon, buy something larger, but I think they're perfect for sending a note to friends and family.

These are some of the best looking postcards I’ve ever bought. They have great art and are vibrant and colorful. Perfect for anyone who enjoys nature or birds.

The cards are a thin stock, but work just fine to mail as is or to use as pages in a letter. The bird images are beautiful. And the writing space on the back is clean except for a small bird name, genus, species. My preference is a card with as much white space for writing as possible. Lovely cards. I'll buy them again when I use these up.

Used these as thank you cards to send through the mail to folks at my old job. They are very pretty and had enough space to write a nice note. Great and unique product.

UPDATE: Switched from 5 to 4 stars because I had one postcard that got a little torn up. But I blame that mostly on my local post office, which has torn up thicker postcards in the past as well. I'm still pretty much satisfied with the purchase, and will continue to use the postcards in the future.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------These postcards are so beautiful! I especially love that every postcard is different. The cardstock is definitely thinner than some other postcards, but it's sturdy enough. I've already sent out several postcards and they've been received in good condition.My only complaints are that my set was missing a postcard (which was handled nicely by Amazon), and the shipping caused the box to get a few small dents around the edges. Nothing too serious, but it would have been better to receive the box in pristine condition.Overall, one of my favorite purchases this year.

I have used several boxes of these and love them for the illustrations, coloration, and vintage-y look. Unlike other reviewers, I have no problem with the weight or thickness. My only less-than enthusiastic comment is that I’d rather Mr. Sibley or the publisher would leave the Turkey Vulture out of the collection. Card recipients might think receiving a picture of a vulture was an ironic or negative comment aimed at them. But one dud in a batch of one hundred is pretty great.

I bought these to display as artwork in my hallway. So many great ones to choose from, I love that I can swap out the pictures whenever I want
