Great case--buy the black one
Great case for four of your headshells. It holds them securely but they are still easy to put in and take out. I liked it so much I bought a second one. The silver version of this case is not the same and is poorly made, so avoid it.

Nice case
Nice case keep your cartridges/styluses safe. Not just for transportation but looks good at home also. Hinge and clasp could have been of a better quality.

Not a pro
I purchased this as a means to safely store my headshells in the truck. The holding clips are tight but snug, i havent had issues inserting or removing headshells. The lid doesnt give me issues either... headshells stay put while vibrating and bounching all day in the truck, and the case does exactly what its supposed to do Personally id like more space between the headshells to make it easier to slide em in and out but otherwise, a great product

Great for old and new head shells
I bought this for my 2 old-style Technics headshells and they fit like a glove. You have to use a little force when pushing them into the slots, but they are guaranteed never to fall out. I also have 2 Ortofon headshells that fit like a glove also.

Is this a joke? No cartridges fit.
I have 4 pairs of cartridges collected over 15 years. Not even one fit in this case. Reading the reviews people are stretching and sanding the holes to make this work? Is this a joke? Is this supposed to be a professional product?

Case is awesome except for one sorta serious problem.
So the case is solid. It looks really nice and seems like it could withstand a beating. Further, the plastic piece that holds the cart seems strong and holds the cart snuggly. The only problem is that the bottom foam on the inside of the case is attached with a very weak glue. This would be fine except that the plastic piece that holds the cart is attached to the foam. Therefore, as the foam begins to peal away your carts will start to move and the needle might begin brushing up against things. I could probably just glue the foam to the bottom with some gorilla glue and solve all of this. However, I spent $30 for a plastic case and I want it to work perfectly for that price.

Very useful. Great quality.
Great Case. Well made. Love that it has the side compartment. I was debating between this and the Shure case and decided to return the Shure in preference of this one. It's not as heavy duty as the Shure - which seems near indesctructible, but the side compartment plus option to hold any type of cartridge won me over. Plus, it's a cleaner look in my opinion. It's solid enough to protect against drops and normal travel, but wouldn't be waterproof seemingly and would get crushed under a lot of pressure if for some reason you did that.
