It's a straight edge, it's flat.
My only gripe with this is the same gripe I have with all of them, the base isn't terribly large so the thing likes to fall to one side a whole bunch. And without a larger surface to register against, I find that if I'm not paying close attention, it's possible to tilt the edge without even realizing it.Still, better to have it than not.

Solid budget friendly flatness edge
I needed a flatness gauge/edge to test the head of a block i was about to rebuild. This thing is very solid and using a .002 gauge i did not find any warping on my head with it. Very solid piece would def use as a straight edge on any wood projects as well.

Extremely Useful
Used this to test flatness for cylinder head installation. Nice heavyweight, very pleased.

Very flat from what I can tell
I’ve laid this across my jointer bed, table saw, and edge-to-edge with another straight edge that I’m very confident is flat. It appears very close to dead flat; as flat as any woodworker could ever discern.

The media could not be loaded. Compre este borde plano para medir la planitud de tapas de cilindros y bloque automotriz y parece bastante bueno más sin embargo me hubiera gustado que el borde inferior fuera más afilado y no tuviera el desborde que tiene ya que sería más fácil ver si existe una distancia entre ambas partes
