This tool performed well when installing new piston rings on my 1992 Yamaha Timberwolf ATV. The tool appears to be well constructed. It's design functioned well when performing a top end rebuild of the ATV engine in which I did not remove the piston or connecting rod from the crankshaft. The gap in each compressor allowed it to be slipped over the connecting rod without removing the rod or piston.

high qualiy tool. i am a mototech and use theese often with no issues. I wish they had come with a plastic snapcase like the rest of my tools but i will live... nice ring compressor jim!
