801cb-p Garage Door Replacement Safety Sensor, 2 Pack

I have a Ryobi garage opener which is discontinued, and Ebay people are asking over $50 for used sensors. I decided to give a try since some post were talking about this unit for Ryobi. It works well, but you have to reverse the wire on the new sensor. I hooked White with Grey from the sensor to White that goes to garage opener and White from sensor to White and Grey that goes to garage opener.

These didn't work at all

As long as you buy the set that comes with new brackets, this works with older openers. They are smaller that the originals and mount slightly different, but work perfectly.

Sensors installed easily on my 2009 Chamberlain opener. But spent a bit of time getting power to them. Turns out the quick connect electrical connectors were not working. Cut them off and used wire nuts instead. Just a heads up.

Although I read that these are to be used for Craftsman openers manufactured after 1997, I bought these to replace my sensors for Craftsman 1/2 41A4315-7A 1994 and they worked fine.

Relatively easy to install. Was able to mount using the existing brackets.
