All-Natural Skin Balm - Boo Boo Balm - For skin irritation, scrapes, bites and stings, cruelty free, plastic free, handmade in the UK - 100ml

There are three products in this offering: 1) Calendula salve. I am a regular user of calendula products, especially in the cooler month, as I get dry and itchy skin at that time of year. This salve works very well, it is a firm product swirling your fingers over the surface leaves a thin oily balm on your fingers - massaging this balm into skin the oiliness disappears quite quickly and and after only a few uses the dryness and itchiness is much reduced. 2) Dandelion and Rosemary salve. I have been using this as a hand salve. It is much softer than the calendula salve - a gentle push on the surface of the product allows you to take small quantity. Using on damp, freshly washed hands it moisturises and protects. I like the scent too - its not particularly strong but is fresh and uplifting. 3) BooBoo Balm. This is another calendula based product and I have been using it exclusively on my face. Just tiny amounts to protect my skin from the colder weather. I have also used it on my nose when I had a cold - it really helped minimise the whole "Rudolph" look I normally sport when I have a cold. All in all I am very happy with this trio of products. The tins (recyclable aluminium) hold 100ml of product and the products have a six month lifespan once opened. I am not sure I will be able to finish the product in this time span but when I get to the end of that time I shall use them as all over body moisturisers so as to use every last bit. I'm happy to have found The Ilex Wood and happily recommend these products.

This is a little tin of awesomeness! I have been struggling with really itch sore shins for a few years now and have been to the docs numerous times. I’ve tried steroid creams, itch relief creams, all sorts and nothing seems to stop the itching. Then I came across this little miracle. As soon as I feel the itch, I slather this on and it stops the itch and my rash on my leg is finally starting to clear up. It smells gorgeous and arrives in a little cute tin that can be used again, will most definitely buy again and will try other products they have too 😊

A great product, really appreciate the all natural, high quality ingredients and the care with which it's been made. I have psoriasis, resulting in itchy, dry skin on my cheekbones and forehead, and am always on the lookout for moisturising products that help to soothe, as well as improve the appearance of my skin. Most mass produced moisturisers, often containing chemicals, perfumes and alcohol actually make my shin worse. After two weeks of using the balm, just applying small dab of it to my face in the morning and just before bed, my skin feels calmed and moisturised. It feels good and as a bonus, the natural oils make it smell great. And because it has no added water (most moisturisers do!), a little goes a very long way, making it great value. Fully recommend.

I purchased these balms after reading about the Dandelion and Rosemary Balm on a Lichen Sclerosis website. Brief explanation, when you have Lichen Sclerosis you need to moisturise the area regularly to reduce dryness, itching, any sores and pain and I was not finding the products advised to be useful at all, so was looking further! I decided to purchase the 3 pack bundle as after reading about the individual products on the product details and Holly’s explanation for which is the better product for what use, they would all work for me and it was economically a chance I was willing to take. Even though I had read about the Dandelion and Rosemary balm, I decided to use the Boo Boo Balm and I am amazed at the results I have had and could honestly cry with happiness as all the problems I had been having have disappeared. I have finally found a product which really, really helps my situation. The products come in a tin and the lid does a great job as the product does not dry out. It is slightly greasy but this is perfect for my requirements. The scent is subtle but really lovely. The size of the tin is perfect to carry in a bag and also to take travelling if you so wished. After I had purchased the balms, I got a lovely message from Holly explaining this is a new business venture and I really hope her business can grow as I will continue using this product, hopefully for the rest of my life and this is not an over statement. I recently had a major eczema outbreak on my face and nothing I used worked. Everything just made my face sting and the eczema worse. So I went in the hunt for something to help calm it. This popped up and I thought I'd give it a go. Unfortunately it wasn't the miracle cure I was hoping for, but it didn't make my face sting and did help keep it hydrated and less scaley. I have since found a cream that did heal the eczema, but am still using this on my hands to help manage dermatitis. Smells lovely, really hydrating, and for the price it is a generous tub. I will definitely keep using it.

Lovely product. Smells amazing and really helped soothe my daughter’s skin. I would not say it cleared her eczema but defo helped soothe it. The whole family now use it.

Tous les étés j'ai des boutons et des inflammations à cause de la chaleur, cela fait 1 semaine que je l'utilise et il m'a beaucoup aidé à réduire les blessures et à empêcher l'apparition d'autres boutons qui me complexent 🥰 J'utilisais du spray à la citronnelle les étés précédents mais avec toute l'huile qu'ils y rajoutent ma peau ne le supportait plus et me rajoutait encore plus de boutons... Le baume est parfait pour ça, les vieux remèdes sont toujours les meilleurs comme on dit 👍
