CLARK'S Chopping Board Oil & Wax Set - Includes Oil (355ml) & Wax (177ml) - Lavender & Rosemary Scent

I recently was given an offcuts of oak kitchen top. With plans to make it into a pizza/pasta making board I bought these to treat the wood with.The wood pretreatment looked quite dry and dull. I needed something which was going to feed and protect the wood.I was impressed with how easy the oil distributed on the wood. I was concerned I would have uneven patches showing on the wood. This never happened and was beautifully absorbed with even colour on the wood.When waxing it may be easier to put the pot into a layer of warm water as I did find it slightly difficult removing the wax from the pot with a cloth. In the end I scraped out the wax with rubber gloves rubbing the wax in with my hands. The heat from my hands melted the wax quickly and the smell of it was wonderful.After the recommended time the wood buffed up to a lovely sheen and the colour of the wood is wonderful. Also once buffed I could not smell the wax anymore. I also have plent left for future use if I want to retreat the wood. I keep having to admire the work of it!!I definitely recommend this product!!

Just what I wanted to protect an old kitchen table I sanded down. Make the wood grain come to life and protects it too. Dried in quickly and smells amazing! Used on my chopping board too, keeps wood well maintained. A little goes a long way and should last a long time.

Decided to give my kitchen work tops a well overdue oiling during lockdown, so looked on Amazon for my usual Danish Oil and all the reviews said what I had always thought, great stuff when you get used to the awful smell. So looked for an alternative and found this. I thought it rather expensive, to buy the soap, the oil AND the wax but my lovely old wooden work tops were looking very neglected, so I bit the bullet and ordered all three. They arrived promptly, though in a rather battered cardboard box and were so easy to apply; a good scrub with the soap for a thorough clean, a lovely smell of oranges and lemons as I applied the oil and then something I had never used before, a waxy top coat to provide protection against marks and stains. The smell didn't linger but the end result was so good, I applied the same treatment to my pine dining table, which now looks like new! Won't ever use anything else now. Expensive, yes but well worth it.

Its a decent kit, a bit overpriced for what it is. I was hoping the scent would stick around but it didn't!The packing was pretty bad. The bottle was leaking and a decent amount of oil escaped the bottle. Just a bit annoying, should have been double sealed.

If you love your wooden chopping board, this is an absolute must! Really enhances the beauty of the wood, increases longevity and smells awesome to boot. Couldn’t ask more of a natural protective for my nice wooden block. Easy to apply and stays good for quite a while

This was very easy to apply and really rejuvenated some old wood chopping boards. I sanded them down a little first as they had a lot of cuts in them (but you'd not need to do this if the boards weren't damaged), then applied the products. They looked almost new when done and smell really lovely. I'll be using the product regularly to maintain the good finish
