PME Mexican Foam Pads, for Sugar Flowers & Gumpaste Modelling, 7.5 x 7.5-Inches

I have a smaller one from a another well-known company and it works just OK, this one arrived very quickly and is much larger and I'm anxious to use it ! I'm sure it will work beautifully and be so much easier to use than the smaller one I had . I may end up purchasing another one soon

I really like the large hole in the center of one of these pads. It is bigger than holes in other pads so you can roll the flower paste over it and make a larger bump as when making the calyx for a rose. This bump is then under the calyx to make the greenery of the rose more realistic.

These are great! Having two of them really makes it nice to sort of "assembly line" a series of flowers. The holes in the blue mat are nice for flowers that require a stem or trumpet shape (like stephanotis). I have used them with gum paste, pastilage, modeling chocolate and edible lace, they're nonstick and work great for me!

First time purchasing or using a flower pad. It worked great to help thin out my gumpaste flowers! Excited to be able to make more complex and realistic sugar flowers.

I haven't used them yet, but I will be today to make flowers. They are bigger than I expected so I am much happy. I paid about $8, for them. My advice is to watch the price on these because they fluctuate anywhere from 5-10 bucks. If I didn't need them right away I would have got them at the 5 dollar price.

Extremely pleased with this purchase...Pads measure 7.5" square and at least 1/2" inch thick; nice working area...Cough up the extra 5/6 bucks over the W-----'s squishy 4" square pad and you will be ever so pleased and never look back...PME quality!! PME has quality pastry tips too!!

These are really nice! Love the two different pads for different firmness. I made gumpaste roses on these and they worked like a charm, exactly what I needed.

Versandt und Verpackung tadellos. Ich habe das erste Mal mit Blütenpaste, Modellierwerkzeug und diesen Schampolstern gearbeitet und kann es mir jetzt schon nicht mehr aus dem Haushalt rausdenken. Selbst als Laie konnte ich plötzlich diese tollen Rosen aus Blütenpaste modellieren! Das blaue Pad eignet sich super für diese Sombrero-Form, mit der man direkt eine Halterung für den Blumendraht einarbeiten kann. Dafür sind sogar fünf verschiedene Größen vorhanden. Das weiße Pad eignet sich hingegen besser zum Formen ausgestochener (großer) Blüten, in denen man keine Löcher haben möchte. Selbst bei eingefärbter Blütenpaste blieben keine Farbrückstände auf dem weißen Schaumpolster. Super Set! Ist eine Anschaffung wert, sofern man oft aufwendige/filigrane Deko für Torten zaubert/zaubern will.
