I'm honestly afraid to put this on... the gold chain doesn't make the head piece the most elastic. I can understand how a bunch of people had theres break first time.Ordered: July 21st, Arrived August 3rdPros:1. Looks like the picture2. PriceCons:1. Would probably fit a child better than an adult2. Easily breakable3. Get stuck in hairHow to put it on without breaking:1. Only stretch the black elastic part, do not even touch the gold when you're placing over your head.2. have your hair be as flat as possible (so don't try to put it on after you curl it or something) I pulled mine into a low ponytail.3. Style your hair with the headband around your neck.4. To place it on head have chin all the way to your chest and let it just fall onto your head.CONCLUSION: I like it alot more as a necklace.

The roses are the size of a dime. Pretty gold color just like in the pic. It fits perfectly on my head. I usually have trouble getting hair accessories to stay in my head bc my hair is silky and my head is oval shape, unlike the round shape of most headbands. But this headband will fit any head shape bc it is a chain and also has a stretchy string..rope..thing for the back of the head.My only problem is that the links catch in my hair so i have to get it right the first time i put it in, which rlly isnt that hard, bc theres no adjusting it once u put it on bc it catches my hair. A bit of a pain getting it out, but not that bad.But besides that. I absolutely love it. It is so adorable and classy

I bought this to wear with a messy bun- kind of a romantic hairstyle. I like it, the roses were just big enough without being obnoxious and it stayed in place pretty well. (I am not sure the review will show the exact one I purchased- but it was the one with gold metal roses and a black elastic in the back).I think it was well made, however, once you put it in place do not move it because the links will get caught in your hair and ruin the style (if hair is secured). I would suggest once you get it where you want it, try to secure it somehow so you don't ruin the whole hairstyle.

I knew I had to have this headband as soon as I saw the price! This hair accessory can be used with a regular, everyday outfit and your head down or it can be a great accessory for a night out on the town with an updo. The bands are sturdy and weren't too tight against my head and the black band blended easily into my hair so that I didn't have an unsightly band around my head.The metallic covering on the roses wasn't gaudy enough to blind people if they looked so that was a big plus. The roses are made of some type of metal and I haven't had any trouble with any of them breaking off yet (I've worn it many times). For such a low price, I will definitely be ordering many more items from this line so I can have a little something in my hair to go with whatever I'm wearing for the day. Thanks for such a high quality headband!

The price is great, which is why I gave it three stars. However, when you first get it, take a pair of needle nose pliers, and tighten the links between the roses. They're not as securely closed as thy should be, which can lead to some annoyance.Also, be prepared to rip some of your hair out. All those little links snag your hair both putting it on, and taking it off. It is beautiful, but I probably wouldn't get it again simply because it can take me a few tries to get it on my head right, and my hair is thin enough as it is.I can't imagine how this would work with thick, or curly hair.

I have a big head. I wear a size L adult helmet. Beanies have been known to pop up off of my head. So I should have known better, but this was so cute, and I thought maybe since it was half elastic that it maybe just maybe would fit... well, it didn't. Not by a long shot. But I don't think it was just me -- the headband I received wouldn't have fit someone with even an average sized head. I repackaged this and gave it to my 6yo niece for Christmas, and it fit her like a gem. Oh well. The niece loved it.

I love this headband, but unfortunately I can't wear it. A lot of people have said theirs broke, but despite me trying to stretch it over my average-sized head numerous times, it is still in one piece. I can get it on, but I take it off within minutes because it gives me such a bad headache. It also tends to snag in hair, so you have to be really careful. Overall, its beautiful if you have a small enough head. I think I'll be giving it to my 5 year old niece rather than keeping it even though I wanted to wear it so badly!

This headband is very pretty for the money. While obviously for the price it's plastic, it actually looks very nice and not cheap at all. I think that if you bought this in a box store, you would pay at least triple the price.Problem is, the black elastic part of it is not nearly long enough. So while I was able to momentarily stretch it onto my head, it felt like a vise and then instantly it slid off.I think I'm going to pass it along to a friend who has two girls and maybe it will fit one of them,
