FurmanPower Conditioner (AC-215)

Simple clean power and surge protection. If you only need 2 power outlets or two components to protect the Furman AC215 is an excellent choice. I live in South Florida and the AC215 was immediately tested during a severe thunderstorm and performed flawlessly protecting connected component. The vendor Audio Advisor shipped the product promptly and exceptionally protected.

Power conditioning is essential for protection of expensive electronic equipment, and this unit does a nice job.

All I can say is that this unit has never failed in the past 4 years I've been using it. I've got it hooked up to a Pioneer Plasma and a cable box. As long as it does its job, I'm happy with it.

I tested my unit in an industrial setting that was measured to have 25% total harmonic distortion at times. That is a condition that will cause any connected transformer to audibly buzz. Once connected through the Furman, the buzz is no more.

Used it twice and now only on plugin works.

I have some pretty expensive stuff plugged into this bad boy. And though it's on the more expensive side it's nice to know that my electronics are protected. I've only had it trip once, thankfully. Given how well it conditions I can only imagine how big that surge or drop must have been.
