Fantastic, thorough and technical, yet easy to understand review of the Airbus systems.Captain Bill Palmer has been an Airbus Captain and Check Airman virtually from the beginning, and has literally written the book—and operator's manuals—on Airbus Flight systems. While this book is mainly aimed at the actual Airbus pilot, I believe it has been written in plain enough English that the "virtual," "sim," or "armchair" pilot will get a lot out of this as well.When I wrote an Airways Magazine article analyzing the Air Asia 8501 accident ("Understanding Air Asia 8501"—April, 2016 issue,) I brought Captain Palmer in as a consultant. Great read for a Boeing guy transitioning to the bus. Well written and concise and to the point. A must read.

It has info that it’s contained in the FCTM nothing further than that it might be a good way for understanding the airbus protections for pilots who never flown this kind of airplanes

Short but solid summary of airbus control laws. Not suitable for the layman. References some aircraft incidents and accidents.Recommended.

Outstanding review. A must-read for 330 and 320 pilots. The problem is that you learn these systems in initial training, and then they never get addressed in this level of detail again. You owe it to yourself to continue challenging yourself, to remain technically proficient and keep up your hand-flying skills. This publication plays a vital part in that.

Bill Palmer knows Airbus!! I have read his other publications and I always learn something new. This one is no exception. Always a good read and a good review, I hope you keep them coming...
