7-1/2" Aluminum Travel Cigar Tube w/Hygrometer & Humidifier ~ Choose Your Color (Silver)

Very very impressed. I did not have a wrong color problem as in other reviews. Seems like they have fixed that issue by color coating the boxes. I'm not sure where grey comes from, as mentioned in the other reviews. I got silver and silver is a nice bright silver. I love the finishing on this and the hygrometer dial. Mine works excellent. I've been using it now for a while and it seems to register well. I have not put this to a digital hygrometer test since my sensor is not detachable from the unit, but larger cigars, smaller cigars and no cigar seem to register accordingly. In all honesty I didn't care if it worked well as I don't use the thing for long term storage. But it's just a cool looking feature and the unit was so cheap for what your getting. The end cap screws on very nice with precision, like a mag flashlight. I get lots of compliments and questions, but the kicker is when I say it's under $20. I bought one for a friend as a gift, loves it, and will probably pick up a greenish color one. Only bad thing, because all my reviews must have at least one, is I cannot fit my box pressed cigars. Obviously you can't fit a square peg in a round hole. I also don't smoke the Gordo sizes so I can't attest to fitting a super large ring cigar. But 99.9% have no trouble in length or diameter. So what do I use this for: when I don't want to carry a clunky cigar daddy box around, when I go to my cigar lounge and decide to buy one for the road, when I go out in a suit or to a bar and I don't want to bring my Davidoff 4 pack holster case. And finally when I leave it in the car in hot LA/Vegas weather, I find it resists temperature's better than my plastic tubes. Either way it was cheap so it's a no brainer.

I purchased one of the 5-cigar "pelican" type travel humidors and when I opened the case in Florida, my cigars were in the process of a slow explosion as the case failed to keep the Florida humidity out.So I bought one of these tubes and WOW!I'm now using my home humidor to store my batch and the day before I smoke it, I store the cigar in this tube with the humidifier saturated. The cigar comes out PERFECT every time.So I bought 4 more and now I'll be traveling with 5 tubes instead.(I'll update on how the TSA reacts to 5-metal tubes with "Hygrometers" that look like timers...)

Works great and the hygrometer actually appears to work as well! Using a propylene glycol solution that keeps a 70% RH causes the hygrometer to read 71%. I am very pleased with this product.

Doesn't calibrate properly and they wouldn't let me return it. Like throwing money away...stay away from this product.
