Just what I needed to show some basic anatomy to my bioengineering class! Kids enjoyed taking it apart and trying to put it back together

This is a great model! I use it daily as an occupational therapist in a hand clinic to educated patients on their conditions!

Many problems with the hand I received:1. Only 6 removable parts, instead of the advertised 7.2. Magnets missing, so pieces did not stay together.3. Pieces did not fit together properly. Huge gaps in between the pieces.4. Paint chips on some of the pieces.5. Did not receive the stand.6. Did not receive a label guide...the hand is useless without the label guide.7. The hand is only 9 inches tall, much smaller than advertised.I don't think this is a genuine Axis product and would not recommend it.

This hand is awesome! I bought it as a gift for a hand surgeon I work with and he loves it too! It really makes surgical consults so much easier for patients to understand, and the fact that it shows all the different levels of anatomy from the finger nail and skin all the way through soft tissues down to the bone makes it super useful for a variety of patient needs. It also looks pretty cool! My MD loves it so much he bought another one!
