Effective Once-Weekly Fungal Nail Treatment with Real Impact
This Curanail 5 % medicated nail lacquer has turned out to be a very practical and effective option for tackling fungal nail infections without the mess or fuss of daily creams. The once-weekly application makes it easy to keep up with the treatment, and the brush-on lacquer applies neatly without dripping everywhere. I noticed that regular use helped the affected nail start to look clearer and healthier over time, with the surrounding skin feeling less irritated and the discolouration slowly fading. It isn’t an instant fix — fungal nails are notoriously stubborn — but seeing steady improvement without having to file or aggressively treat the nail was encouraging. The compact bottle lasts through the treatment course despite only needing a weekly application, and it’s discreet enough to carry with you if you’re travelling. For anyone dealing with a mild to moderate fungal nail issue, this medicated lacquer is a solid choice that delivers noticeable results without being complicated.

It's working
It's working. It takes time and I'm about to order my second batch. My toe nails have been been a problem for 20+ years...this is helping and an end to the problem is in sight. It has only dropped a star because the small size of files etc are fiddly.

Effective and recommended
This is probably the only thing that actually helped, and I tried a lot. I've read comments about it drying out in the bottle and was sceptical at first, however wanted to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Always make sure to close it properly, leave in a cool place, and use it consistently as written in the instructions. I hope this helps!

Very slow to work.
Does not work quickly. Am still using it after two weeks . Only a slight improvement so far.

Effective but needs patience and consistency over a long period of time
I’ve been using this for over a year now and though my nail still has fungal, it is significantly less then before so this medication is working! Important- you must apply this weekly consistently and you must file your nail before applying (so the medication can get to the infected parts of the nail that will grow each week). Be consistent and patient and it will eventually work. If you don’t think you can then best to not purchase as it not cheap.

Worth a try - it's 5% Amorolfine or systemic antifungals - don't waste your money on other products
This contains 5% Amorolfine, which when applied properly can get through the nail, Loceryl or unbranded 5% amorolfine are the same, the unbranded one slightly cheaper. The insert is quite correct to state that in advanced cases, it's unlikely to work. You do have to use for minimum 3 months and possibly 6 before deciding, so photograph when you start and at monthly intervals. Don't waste your money on tree oils, vinegar, daft laser pens. Think about it, if vinegar worked then it would be widely used and there wouldn't be a problem. As for the lasers.... just because it says laser it doesn't mean it's going to zap the fungus. No evidence that they work. Worth spending a few quid on isopropyl alcohol/isopropanol/rubbing alcohol, dilute it to 70% or so and apply daily esp between the toes to stop spreading. Otherwise its systemic antifungals from your GP, you need to have periodic liver function tests (LFTs) and to take for 3 to 6 months, success rate is not 100%. Although in theory they are sensitive to the antifungals in the lab ( I've done the testing ) and the blood levels are high enough, in real life fungi are very resistant and extremities are a problem, eg diabetic foot ulcers

Low maintenance option.
Bought this for a teenager so the once weekly application is absolutely ideal. Anything needing daily or multiple applications would frustrate him but this routine is simple: a quick file (comes with files) once a week and then apply the solution. It’s still early days so we’re waiting to see the full results.
