Good gear, but have insurance incase you lose any pieces.
For Gaming: When playing battlefield 4, I could hear my enemies approaching from either my left or right side, which ultimately, was pretty darn cool. Stereo effects with THX quality really makes your triple A effects amazing, soundtracks and small sounds superb, and honestly, I wouldn't doubt that this will be a great experience overall.Noise Cancellation: I think it's great, as long as they fit your head just right. Also, depends if you are counting if you are listening to something or not. If you are, yes, it's going to be hard (harder than usual, at least) to hear anyone speak to you, but not entirely. If nothing is playing, yes, you can faintly hear someone. I'm not expert in these matters, but I feel its pretty good, considering.Sound Quality: Superb. I think it's amazing, personally. While playing battlefield in stereo, I can literally hear people approaching from my left and right, and this itself can help you become a better gamer. This is superb for solo watching horror movies, or triple A movies themselves. Rumble effect has a added effect to the audio experience; just depends on your discretion.Overall: Price wise, it's super expensive, and you might need "Razor Insurance/Amazon Insurance" for incase of customer loss of items. (wireless USB plug in, damages that may occur, etc.) I purchased renewed and saved 50-80 dollars. I've had my headset for almost two months now, and it's not had any kind of issues. The battery is debatably issue; if you use the rumble effect with certain intensity, yes, this will tear down your battery quicker and will not last it's potential life span of 8+ hours. If you turn off the rumble effect, and just use sound quality, than yes, it's going to last a lot longer."Cool" ear muffs: Yes, these do work as intended. I have had my headset on for 8+ hours and never had sweat around my ears. This feature is really nice, because over long term use, that sweat and junk can really make a headset gross and unsightly. Not to mention, the absorption of sweat in the material, which gives a even worse unsightly scent/aroma. Personally, if the sound quality doesnt get you, the rumble effect, the noise cancelling feature, than you're going to really enjoy not sweating into your headset.Tip: I don't know how the cool ear muffs work in a hot/warm room, and I cannot say for certain if they will work at their best in these conditions. Just keep that in mind if you have a warm room.Tip: Remember to plug in and keep charged after long use, or for a few hours of play. You might kick yourself in the butt without hindsight.Tip: If you are famous for losing parts like dongles and the USB's provided for wireless set up, be sure to go to razor and buy insurance for "customer induced loss/damages", otherwise you're going to have a hard time trying to find replacements, if, any, at all.Tip: When using the Haptic Intensity while charging, this will allow for an annoying "plugged in/plugged out" sound of your headset on the PC. I can't say I know what will happen when it's a PS4.Tip: When buying renewed, remember that these have been previously used/repaired and sold back to you as new as possible. My first order was okay, but than the battery started having charging issues. My second pair worked fine, though.

Comfort and OMG Sound Quality.
I recently picked up the Razer Nari Ultimate and – wow – what a ride! The standout feature? HyperSense haptic feedback which are tiny motors in each earcup that bring every explosion, engine rev, and punch to life. In Forza Horizon 4, I could feel the car accelerating , playing Doom with these on is like a full on EARGASM, no lie :DAudio is crisp and spacious thanks to THX Spatial Audio—dialogue, footsteps, and gunfire, hit with pinpoint clarity.Even better? Comfort. The cooling-gel pads keep my ears fresh even after marathon sessions, and the auto-adjusting headband is weighty but never fatiguing. Plus, hidden dongle storage is a brilliant convenienceHere’s what really sold me:Deep, directional immersion – haptics shift based on audio and positioning to match in-game environmentsCustomization galore – Synapse software lets you tweak EQ, haptic intensity, RGB, chat mix, you name itWireless versatility – works via 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, USB, or analog 3.5 mm.Now that these are last years Flagship model, you can get them at a great price. Trust me its worth the hype.

They must've sunk their budget into marketing for this headset
At first glance, you're like 'Wow! Wireless? A mic? Haptic feedback? 7.1 THX? Cooling gel?! A LITTLE STRAP?! RGB?!?!??!!'... it seems like it should be really the best of the best gaming headsets. I already knew this wasn't going to be THE best going in, but I wasn't expecting them to be as much junk as they are. The haptic is the only gimmick here that really does anything, and unfortunately that thing is mainly fatiguing my ears and even the skin surrounding them after about a half hour of haptic use. The mic is terrible, your built in mic (if you have one) is almost certainly better; the mic also has a tendency to pick up any bass coming from the headphone, meaning that when haptic is turned on you're leaking half your audio output back into your mic. The wireless connectivity is only mediocre. The sound quality is VERY lackluster for the price - the soundstage is good (I mean it needs to be to support THX 7.1) but their sound is the opposite of rich (frequency response is the minimum necessary to be tolerable if you wanna hear your music, and the sensitivity isn't good either). If you have glasses, haptic can be physically painful. Even with the "cooling" gel in the pads, your ears still will get sweaty. To top it all off, you've gotta use Razer Synapse to get these features out of it, a program that uses a keylogger. Now, if Razer has a data breach, do you really want their software (which requires internet connection for a lot of functions, and, again, logs which keys you press in order) baked into your computer? For a $150 set of headphones this is pretty unacceptable. They crammed as many features into a headset as they could and, would would've guessed, none of them turned out good - the mic is garbo, the ergonomics aren't good, the haptic is practically useless (and I'm a bit of a VR enthusiast so for me to say that this haptic is bad days a lot), the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, the RGB is useless seeing as this thing sits on your head where you can't see the lit up sides, the connectivity is worse than most Bluetooth earbuds I've had, it's just an all-around bad package for the price. Don't get these
