Nightstick NSP-4608B Dual-Light Headlamp

My work supplied us with these lights that's how I learned about them. I do alot of night fishing on my boat and run my dog at night also. These lights are awesome, super bright and waterproof. I have always bought Energizer headlamps but their quality has seriously dropped off the past couple of years. Then I found the NSP-4608B on Amazon and immediately purchased 2 of them they are of really good quality. I prefer lights that use AA batteries over AAA just for the extra bit of battery life, Lord knows they're not cheap but these have above average battery life. I would definitely recommend this light for anyone that uses headlamps as much as I do, you won't regret it.

The spotlight is great. If wearing against your skin--not over hardhat--remove and flip the strap or the rubberized side of the band will become uncomfortable. If using both the spot and flood together, the battery life will greatly diminish. (I used both for about 5-6 hours working in a crawlspace using fully-charged rechargeable eneloop batteries. The light was pretty dim at the 5th hour.)I've also used this in spotlight mode as a headlamp for walking at night. It lights up the street nearly 50 feet ahead and street signs well beyond that. After 1/2 hour of the spotlight on high setting, the light is still very bright.I've used this on spot and flood mode while repairing drywall. Makes an excellent worklight.I wish there was an option of a non-rubberized headband. Flipping the headband leaves a knot of fabric where the slip adjustment is made.Changing batteries is simple and can be done without tools. There is a ridged screwhead that can be opened using fingers or a slotted screwdriver.

This is a great headlamp.. I have several different brands of lamps & this one is my absolute favorite..The controls are simple & well thought out. The light output & longevity is excellent..The headband is comfortable & the overall quality of the product is a great..

Packing could’ve been a little better in terms of ease to open up. Fits very well with adjustable strap. Lights well in dark places. Battery life seems very good as I’ve had it for months and have not replaced the batteries once yet. Waterproof which helps to keep it from being damaged as sometimes I use it in the rain during work.

Perfect price, great product. I don't need many features, as i use it to measure dark houses for drafting and modeling. 4 out of 5 stars because you may want more features, like colored lights or a bit brighter if you're cycling or hiking in the woods.

Husband really likes this light. It is bright, sturdy and he uses it all time at night or in bilge of his commercial fishing boat.
