I would probably give this 3 stars for the construction quality and materials, but decided 4 stars because the price and the look. It's cheap, cheaply made, kind of flimsy feeling. Typical Chinese fixture. It looks good though.It has a surprising amount of plastic in the fixture. A lot of metal, but more plastic than I expected. The thing is though, fixtures like this don't really take much, if any abuse, once installed, so the platic parts really don't matter a whole lot. Just something to consider. Definitely good for a budget diy project.Installation is basically the same as any fixture. If you're a homeowner who does your own work, you probably won't even need to look at the directions.It's bigger than I expected. (That's what she said). Probably too big for a small room like a laundry room or closet. I did get this for my laundry/mud room at the garage entry. It is a bit oversized for that. But that's on me, not the product. I only put in 1 bulb because 3 would have been overkill.I think, as long as you install this in the right size room, you should be happy with it.

Make sure that you purchase bulbs that will outlast you, as there are eight nuts to remove to remove the cage to put in a bulb. You cannot replace the bulb without taking it apart. Not real convenient. Directions are iffy. Also, not all metal! Plastic, cages seem to be the only metal, be cautious in tightening anything or it will break! If you are paying someone to install, I highly recommend putting the bulbs and cages together in advance. It'll save a few dollars. I love the look, however does not match any oiled bronze that I have. So if you're trying to match, don't count on it, it is more of an antique brass. For my purpose I don't mind that it doesn't match, however I would've been annoyed had it mattered. Installation is today. Sure hope they work.

This light is close to the surface, so isn't going to be a fixture that is going to be the main attraction like a chandelier or pendant, but it looks good if that's your intent. The coloration doesn't look like an army pattern of black and bronze like some other fixtures. I ended up swapping mine for a ceiling fan light fixture. I had to add some rubber grommets to the wire light covers to avoid the vibrating noise since they didn't fit in snug naturally, but no problems since.

The handyman just installed this fixture as a ceiling light today. We used vintage bulbs to enhance the aesthetics. This is one of those times where the product exceeds expectations. Very pleased at this time.

Miserable to add or change a light bulb. You have to disassemble the cage to add or replace a light bulb. The cage around the bulb is held on with multiple nuts. It does not reassemble easily, as the bars on the cage to not easily align with the holes. It doesn't produce very much light either. I returned the product

Exactly what I was looking for to update the out of date light fixtures in my house. My friend liked it so much he is going to order one for his house and I plan to order another one for my hallway. LOVE this light.

The prong on one of the cages snapped off. Too late to return this item as my electrician has already installed the light fixture.Cheaply made, don't recommend buying it.

The light wasn't the best quality, but it was a decent price. The fixture had more gold in it then bronze, but its different and I like different. A dislike was the screws for the fixture was in the same place to screw the bracket onto the blue box in the wall. So I had to rig that to get the light to feel sturdy. Overall, I am pleased with the light.

Easy to install and looks great in my home. The quality of the product is great as well!
