Although it looks like a plastic target
From the first look, you would think this target would not last after being shot up, but I was wrong. Although it looks like a plastic target, the material does a remarkable job of holding together and "re-healing" like the ad says. It does not actually re-heal completely, because you still can see the holes, it does 'squeeze back around the hole so it is much smaller. This does allow for repeated shooting without distortion of the target. It is much easier to set up than a dozen cans or bottles, and if you need a smaller aiming point you can stick paper targets to it or use black marker or bright painted thumbtacks. I have used small caliber handguns on this so far, and have not tried larger calmer or rifle caliber yet. I plan on stepping up to larger and larger sizes to see how it holds up and then update this review. Can't beat the bang for the buck this target gives you.

Smaller than I thought, but great way to test accuracy
Smaller than I thought, but great way to test accuracy. Like another review I too shot this with .22 and .223. The spinner holds up fine and if you squirt some silicone spray on the bar, it really spins! The metal rod is another story. Either I didn't hit it or it survived .22 ok. Shot one leg right in have with the .223 though. Cut the fragged ends, straightened it out, braised it back together and it's still working about 500 rounds later.

Holds up well
Very durable, have had at the range many times and you can only see small black marks where the bullets hit. My only complaint about this product is the spinner moves around on the metal and will stop spinning. They should have made the indent deeper to keep the target from sliding around and getting stuck. A little wd40 also helps keep the spinner going.

For .22s only
I used a larger rifle at 50 yards and left permanent holes in the duraseal. Also, the metal post was toast the first outing. I've been using cricket posts since then. a great buy for .22s and maybe small hand guns.It did spin for me but I was using large rounds. Shipped fast and met my expectations for the most part. I was skeptical that it would hold up to anything but .22s to begin with. Might try the gong next.

Great time at the range.
Great Target and was larger than I thought. It took the abuse of the .357, 9mm and 40S&W with very little to show. I am planing to pick up the gong and bowling pin for my next range visit. Very fun target and responsive. The frame is very strong also taking a direct hit from our .40S&W and all it did was bend it up a little, a shot to the other side made it even to keep shooting on that hot range session LOL. Overall great product and worth the price.

Don't waste your money!
Don't waste your money on these products. I ordered two different Champion DuraSeal targets. We put the ends of the metal frames in the ground and were excited about shooting at these targets. Within the first few shots at the targets they were both rendered worthless. On both targets a bullet hit the metal frame just to the side of the spinning target and cut it in two pieces. The two sides of the metal frame fell over and the target was laying on the ground. We tried several times to fashion a solution to stand the target up but were not successful. We ended throwing both of the targets in the trash. These are basically one-time use targets. I would not recommend these to anyone who wants more than a few minutes of fun.

Tiny target
This is a tiny target. The circle is approximately 2 1/2" across and each side of the square is approximately the same. The dimensions are not bad for an experienced shooter however it will not be fun for a beginner. I will be keeping this for me and look for a larger gong to teach my son on.

good target
this is a really good target, for pellet riffles and bb guns. the only draw back is this target Will send them back at you for some reason, so I advise standing off to one side at least 4-5 feet
