The first time i didn't leave it in long enough. I bleached to yellow and put 050 color charm very tiny bit. Next time i used half bottle of 050 and left it in for 35 minutes and its dark grey. It has gotten a little lighter. Great color for light silver highlights. I am 61 and blonde hair just doesn't do it for me any more. I love this color. Update: It does fade but fades beautifully to ash blonde. Love this!

After trying the wela toner & multiple box hair dyes and failing I dug a little deeper in my ‘research’ (YouTube) & came across this. I’m a natural brunette so the process to blonde is always a slow one but after a while the color wouldn’t lift anymore no matter how blonde the dye & if your like me & trying to go blonde bleach free then this will be just what you need !

This product is CRAP. I had beautiful blonde hair that took me months to achieve and hundreds of dollars.. and in 15 minutes it was gone, turned to this horrid ugly GRAY color. How the **** do they sell this as LIGHT INTENSE BLONDE when it turns into a gray mess. Worst hair product ever i can’t believe this. I’m so upset i can’t believe this product is able to be sold. What a nightmsre. I’ll never try to dye my hair again

I naturally have med brown hair. I bleached for 1 hour (volume 30). Then used Silver pearl ( equal parts volume 20) for 30 min. This is after 2 washes. It will be way darker when first done but it will lighten up with washing. The product arrived before the estimated date. 😀 The last photo is 1 week later, I use Brass off by matrix for my shampoo evey day for upkeep (Just for the hint of purple). Hope this is helpful. 🙃

Didn't use the product. It didn't mix at all. Looked like cottage cheese. I don't trust it to put it in my hair

I have been using ion for about a year now and tend to stay with a blue base for my own preferences. This is a dark blue. Think Grover from sesame street, and it does wash out, but pretty slowly. My hair being as it is tends to loose the dye in its tips first and it gives me a really rad sort of fade but I achieved that with copious amounts of bleach and some self inflicted damage to my ends.... that being said, my roots are a really dark brown and this dye will covers that for at least ten washes with no real issues (after about ten washes I want to re-amp the color anyway so it works out)

I wish I'd come across this a long time ago, I love it. Gives a great colour, and covers gray well.

What was supposed to be light silver turned out black purple. Not happy.
