Steering Wheel Cover Made from Luxurious Australian Merino Sheepskin - Cream

Ok: a quick disclaimer. The color isn't "obsidian" or even modestly black; it's a nice deep grey that won't clash with most car interiors. And once you sink your paws into the thick, soft pile, you won't care much what it looks like. I've tried lots of steering wheel covers--including sheepskin ones--and this is the best yet for winter driving. Next best thing to a heated steering wheel.I bought this cover last fall for my new Subaru, and it stayed clean and thick over the winter, not matting down at all like cheaper ones often do. It's delightfully warm, of course, even in upstate NY's sub-zero temperatures. My cover is still so pristine that I'm reluctant to subject it to my grubby, sweaty hands this summer, but I'm sure it would work equally well for protecting sensitive paws from hot steering wheels as well. It's more expensive than many sheepskin covers, but the thick softness is worth the extra money. You may be tempted just to pet it, when no one's looking.

The last "sheepskin" steering wheel cover we purchased ended up not being sheepskin at all. It shed all over our car and left a layer of fine lint on every surface. This steering wheel is definitely made from sheepskin and it feels amazing. Even better, it doesn't shed! I bought it as a Christmas present for my wife and she was absolutely thrilled with it. She still gets a smile on her face every time she gets in her car and sinks her fingers into that cover. We have a tan interior in our Honda Odyssey so the tan colour of the cover matches perfectly. I joke with her that "...driving her car is like driving a teddy bear" but the truth is I like the feel of the cover too.I would definitely recommend this cover to those who are looking for a quality sheepskin steering wheel cover. It's not cheap, but it is worth what you pay for it. Sometimes you just have to go big or go home.

Feels good to touch. Fibers themselves do not get cold, however, air in between the fibers has the same temperature as the surrounding but overall it does not feel like you are holding on to a piece of ice as it feels when holding a bare steering wheel in the cold weather of North Dakota. I, however, was disappointed with the workmanship of the wheel cover. It seems to be made by amateurs. Suture lines are poorly done. Fibers are not cut evenly. Overall, good quality ship skin steering wheel made poorly.

I ordered this cover for my 2012 Prius C, and it fit great. My car has a smaller steering wheel, and a few times I had to return covers because they would slip and slide while I was driving! I got rid of the old one, and put these on, and they felt so comfy. Most of all it did not slip, as there is a good amount of elastic to keep it in place. As one of the customers described, it does indeed feel like a teddy bear! I drive a lot in NYC and the way some people drive, this cover can be calming and soothing. It kept my hands pretty warm in the winter; hoping for coolness in the summer. Also note that this steering wheel cover is not as thick as it looks in the pic. Guaranteed you will enjoy your drive more with this cover!

Mine is definitely some cheap synthetic. And, it's starting to have little strings coming off it from the stitching. It is warm, and fits okay I suppose.

Supposed to be one size fits all but I have tried it on 3 different vehicles in my family and it doesn't fit any of them. Very disappointing

This cover is super cute! It fits on my 2015 Audi A4 and the black looks really nice with my leather, black interior. On my steering wheel particularly the cover is not thick enough to cover as much as it does in the picture, so you can still see a lot of the inside of the steering wheel. BUT it doesn't look bad at all. I like that the material doesn't retain the cold nearly as much as the leather steering wheel does, so it is a blessing in the cold mornings. The cover is very stable and doesn't move when placed on the steering wheel so there are no safety concerns.I did give it four stars because it is not shiny like pictured, but instead is exactly how you imagine sheep skin in Ugg boots are or similar products. Also, because of the way it is packaged, there is a three inch portion that is really smashed and flattened. Not a big deal though, I just positioned the cover so that this section is at the bottom.Overall I would recommend this. The price is a bit higher than other brands but I think it is high quality.

As it is, this wheel cover has a wonderful feel! It just slip and glide against your fingers like satin and the warmth is unquestionable. I had one from a different company that I can't seem to find anywhere else. It's falling apart now and I was looking for a replacement. Price aside, I dove right in for these expecting to have paid for quality. I was right! I bought two. One as a gift and one for myself. The only problem? The covers were too big for my wheel and continued to slip off or turn in my dad's. The band was perhaps too loose or maybe our wheels were too small. Either way, the company was gracious and generous enough to reply to my return request and for that, I give this item a five-star rating. Excellent customer service, a truly wonderful product...but just wasn't for us. I have to go back to searching for a sheepskin cover that will fit my wheel.
