Spiral bound is great for sessions!
This book is filled with therapeutic interventions that give a patient with all levels of anxious symptoms structured and doable activities. Gives the client a sense of “working on the back side” of anxiety. I use this daily in my private practice!

Felt significant improvement in managing anxiety after reading
My psychiatrist recommended to read this book when I was trying to figure out the best form of treatment for my anxiety. After reading this book I have been able to challenge my anxious thoughts whenever they come up and became better at self soothing. It almost feels like I became my own therapist. I’ve combined this with talk therapy and felt so much improvement. There are so many gems in this book and I’ve underlined several sentences that became my mantra.

This seemed like a very useful book, lots of common sense, as given by an expert practioner
I bought this book for my son, whom I thought could benefit from the advice about overcoming anxiety. He has a PhD, but I think grad school set him back from some life lessons, so this book seemed like it would be useful, since it is rather practical and scientific, as he is. I haven't had much time to ask him about it yet, but he seems a bit more confident since I gave it to him.I like that the book sticks to practical matters, rather than conveying a lot of psychological theory that is not necessarily well evidence-based. Basically, it stresses that anxiety is natural and usually functional, but it can get in the way of living, and there are ways to address that, which it presents in a straightforward manner.
