no sugar and much better than gelatin. I have been using it for years. Need very little and has to be used with hot liquid

They don't say anything like that are included However there are warning California law warning , may contains chemical knowing to cause cancer, birth defect.

What's the expiration date on it?

Hello, I don't buy packages anymore as I use it all the time. therefore I buy it by 500gr in a big plastic container and there is no expiration date on it. You should not worry about the expiration date as AGAR AGAR can be kept I would say for many months. Hope this help
