Ambient Weather WS-2902C WiFi Smart Weather Station

This is somewhat inexpensive LaCrosse Technology rain guage that provides a pretty good estimate of how much rain a certain area of your yard or property experiences. It’s Bluetooth so you can monitor it on your phone or if you are Ike me, from your LaCrosse weather screen. I have this along with the wind gauge (not very accurate) and two different temperature gauges which are pretty much right on. At best, you can determine how much rain has fallen in your yard in the past 24h or 7 days while on vacation. I like doing that so it’s just a fun little toy to have. if you want a more accurate measurement then you have to pay more money.

This unit replaced another we had for several years. We weren’t sure if this replacement was the fix or not until my husband installed the batteries and instantly the numbers showed up on our LaCrosse Weather Station! It’s working great and I have it synced with an app on my phone as well. We love our weather station and like to see it in good working condition.

I got my weather station about a year ago and was working fine. I noticed it stopped working so I checked out the rain sensor and found ants had moved in. I tried to clean them out but no joy, so I ordered a new sensor. It arrived early and it's working now and very appreciated this time of the year.

The unit has been working well so far. After getting it I found it cheaper at another site. That is my only complaint.

Bought this to go with the other devices on my weather station. Works as discribed. Easy to setup. Seems accurate.

The original Rain Sensor stopped transmitting. New batteries didn't help. It is working good after a few rains.

The original unit that we bought quit working after a few years. The replacement installed easily and is working just fine.

I disliked the price.
