Tough 14" Tack Hook

I bought 2 of these to hang over the top of the vinyl fence that surrounds my pool equipment so I could hang the skimmer horizontally on the fence. I expected I‘d probably have to send them back but it was worth a shot. Well, they fit perfectly over the fence and the skimmer fits perfectly into the hooked part. Seriously, it’s like these hooks were made specifically to do just that. When does that ever happen in life?! Maybe I need to get a life but this made me so darn happy! I realize that’s a pretty specific use so in general I’ll say that these are a great size and seem well made. I bought them in black.

They will work but the coating/paint is chipping off of both hooks that I ordered.

I use these all over my barn for everything, bucket holders, bridle holders, hooks for blankets or jackets. They’re great and you can never have too many

My pasture fences, stall, walls, and doors are all nominal 2 inch (1-1/2 inch actual) width. That means that this otherwise sturdy hook hangs at an angle of about 25 degrees. It interferes with the sliding stall door in my barn because of its size. The internal width of these hooks is 2-3/8 to 2-1/2 inches.

One of the tack hooks wasn't completely painted and was covered in rust! Even the packaging was covered with rust.

I really love these hooks. They hang over the stall dividers and I can hang all my bridles and halters up and keep them clean. They would fit even better over a 2X4 fence rail but even over the narrower stall dividers they work. The plastic coating will prevent rust and keep tack clean. Nice product and buying them at the add on item price makes them all the better.

Very nice hook for whatever you want to hang-up. I use a small and large version on the outside of my stall for my grooming bag, bridle, keys, coat, halter, etc. The hooks seem very strong and the pink color is nice. Although it doesn't bother me, I should note the small and large hook I received were slightly different shades of pink.

Exactly what I was expecting.
