SARASA Gel CLIP 0.5 mm with 5 Vintage Colours 1

I was a little apprehensive purchasing these pens for the low cost rice of £6 for 6 pens. That’s a quid each. About the same as a run of the mill black biro pen. The pens arrived the following day lovely and warm (the Amazon driver must have had the van heaters on full blast). They are packaged well in a little clear case. The pens themselves have a useful feature on the clip where you can press the top of the clip and it opens like a clothes peg allowing you to slide it into a sleeve or pocket without it scraping. They are also retractable pens, press the button on top. Onto the ink and use. The pens are 0.5 rollerball pens, and arrive with little blobs of what looks like red wax over the roller ball of the nib. Just scrape it off with a nail (I assume it’s there to stop the ink drying in the warehouse before it’s sold). The pens write beautifully….. on certain types of paper. Here’s what I’ve found so far: ⭐️Pukka Pad: very scratchy on the paper, not smooth at all. ⭐️90GSM Kodak inkjet paper: very scratchy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kokuyo Jibun Techo: smooth with amazing colour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kokuyo sketch book: smooth and again the colour is amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kokuyo PERPANEP ultra smooth: a joy to use, smooth, easy and colours pop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️Clairefontaine paper: very smooth, great colours. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Smythson Panama notebooks: almost as smooth as the Kokuyo PERPANEP ultra smooth. Lovely to write with and really nice colours against the blue paper. ⭐️⭐️⭐️Molkskine pocket notebook: smooth, not as smooth the Kokuyo paper. Nice colours. In summary. It depends on the type of paper you’re gonna be using. The rougher the paper, the scratchier the writing experience.

Amazing pens, I use them with my hobonichi techno, I love the colours, great grip doesn’t make my hand hurt. Writes real smooth! Will buy again

Lovely smooth writers in lovely vintage colours

Once again, Sarasa know how to make high-quality pens that are simply a joy to write with! Great for note-taking and drawing. Be sure to note, that since these are gel pens they are prone to smudge more and it takes a while for it to dry, so be sure to let it dry before closing your notebook or sketch book! I would think that this would be a bit more frustrating if you're left-handed as well.

Have been using zebra sarasa for years after recommended by my brother. I love journaling and I do appreciate a good pen. This set of colour is what I have been looking for as it is vintage colour, not bright, not too colourful, just what I love. It is smooth to write as well, the ink comes out smoothly and it won’t smudge everywhere. The delivery is quick and it arrives in a protected packaging.

L'écriture est agréable, un peu gripeuse mais agréable, c'est le charme ! Les couleurs sont assez sombres, c'est parfait !

These are great, and I love the different colors. Ink flows immediately upon use the first time, every time. Writing is smooth with no build-up or pooling in areas, where I may linger in my writing style. I'm happy with the quality of the pens too, and I'll definitely be buying more of the Zebra Sarasa brand for my needs.

I don't usually write reviews but I love these pens so I wanted to take the time to do so. These are honestly my favorite pens to write with, I had the other variant before (it has a mustard color in the pack) and the last of those pens is on it's last legs so I got this pack to replace them. Love these colors too, and aside from the brown and red, don't even smear with my mildliners which was a nice surprise! I usually go for an even finer point pen but honestly these are such a joy to write with I don't even mind them being slightly thicker.
