Marine plug
It’s exactly what you expect. Unbranded or marked, looks quality and works great. I had to go with a cord version since my battery charger setup is removable (lithium batteries). My only helpful advise would be the hole saw size. Instructions advise 1.75” hole, but it was extremely tight! As in I had to use my fist and eventually a rubber mallet to get it to seat. Either grease the housing before install or file that 1.75” hole a tad to make your life easier.

Enclosed Trailer Install - simple and easy
This works pretty well. I installed it in my enclosed trailer so I could hook an extension cord to a battery charger inside the trailer and be able to close and lock the doors. The thickness of the trailer walls is less than the depth of the port connector, so here's an installation tip if you are doing something similar: Drill a small indexing hole from inside the trailer where you want the port connector to go. Now find that small hole on the outside and drill your 1 3/4" hole for the connector with a hole saw, BUT NOT ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE INTERIOR PLYWOOD WALL. The rubber boot on the back of the port connector will add 1/4" to the overall diameter, so use a 2" hole saw on the interior wall. If you drill through both the outer skin and the interior plywood with 1 3/4" hole saw, it won't fit with the rubber boot. I also used some white silicone to help seal it. See pics.

Great product
I'm replacing the one that the dealer put on. The kind that the charger plug end clamped into it, so I lost about an 3/16" of an inch on the plug prongs going through the base, then the extension cord end has about 3/16" of rubber on the end, so I was losing right at 3/8th of an inch of connection on 3/4" cord prongs. Several times I would get ready for a trip only to find out the batteries didn't charge. This mounted in the existing hole with the help of a extra drill hole. the screw pattern didn't match the old one but that's a VERY small price to pay for the confidence that my batteries will be charged. The cord on this is very generous and made it easy to route the cord out of the way.

Great for the boat!
I added an onboard charger and needed a good way to plug in the extension cord. This is the perfect solution! It keeps the water out when it is closed and allows me to plug in without opening a hatch door where water could get in. Worth every penny!
