Tastes great and multiplies quickly
This is the real McCoy. I've had several cultures that did decent in rising the dough in the past, but this has to be the healthiest I've ever worked with. 5 loaves later, the yeast is vibrant, alive, ALIVE, and unstoppable. Within an hour of feeding, the yeast jar looks like it's filled with a sponge. Highly suggest for anyone that's a sourdough baker (trainees included).

Starter had no life to it.
I followed the instructions but my starter did not double in size. It did not grow at all. The instructions do not tell you how to rejuvenate dead or dying starter. Also, the starter is expensive for the amount given and the poor instructions. Besides not including info on troubleshooting, the manufacturer does not include a phone number or any contact information in the packaging. I had to seek info on the web as to how I may possibly rejuvenate my starter. Very disappointing.

$22 for 4oz of starter in plastic tub!?!
Not what is pictured! Yes they put in the description that it doesn't include the jar but I didn't see that until after it showed up. $22 for 4oz (less than 4 in my case) of starter? Rip off..
