Easy to assemble
It’s a good chair I managed to put it together myself (69 year old female) it’s very comfortable and a great price. It’s a bit low but that’s no big deal. Perfect for my needs.

May need another tool to assemble
Overall, I am very pleased with this chair. It arrived in a large box, adequately packaged. The flat seat is supplied attached to the runners to allow it to swivel which is helpful. The back of the chair needs to be attached with two long bolts and two short bolt. The latter are held in place with two clips that just slide onto the notch at the end of the bolt. Two threaded knobs need to be screwed into the frame to allow locking the chair into your preferred seating angle. So far, 10 minutes work and cruising. Unfortunately the two armrests then took me a further 30 minutes to fit. There are just two bolts to attach each arm, but due to the restricted space available and my quite big hands, I struggled to persuade the threads to accept the bolts. In the end I used a long-reach hex driver tool to successfully locate and tighten the four bolts (see photo). The assembled chair looks great and although the seat is perhaps around 4 inches lower than my large armchair, I am happy with it's compactness, taking up much less floor space than my armchair. It allows me to adjust the reclining position by loosening the two knobs on the sides of the chair and pushing back. The footrest is very simple to operate, just pulling the lever on the RHS of the chair. To return the footrest, I just pull my heals towards the chair seat and it clicks back into place. I consider it quite comfortable to sit on and I like the swivel. There is a runner noise (like the old curtain rails) when I swivel but it is functional and I didn't have to pay £1000 for a silent swivel. I feel safe and well supported in the chair. I consider it good value for money and I intend to buy 2 or 3 more for my lounge.

Better than previous chairs
It might seem strange but I bought this for the base! My previous two recliners relied on a central pole into a circular base. Both snapped within two years. This one has a sturdy bentwood base and castors running smoothly around a track. Now the disappointing stuff. Assembly is relatively straightforward, possibly because of the practice I had on prvious chairs. But...DO NOT DISCARD THE ALLEN KEY[S] NECESSARY FOR ASSEMBLY. Within a few weeks the hinge bolt loosened - which I discovered when the back separated from the seat. I now have to tighten the bolt every few weeks, as it appears to be loosened with each recline. The rising leg support is even more of a problem, as the springs pop off. I don't use it, as I retained the footstool from one of the old chairs. Otherwise, pretty good value. Maybe too early to view after a year's daily use, however. If it breaks, I'll be back to modify.

Mother-in-Law’s Throne
Bought this for my 80-year-old mother-in-law and she now calls it “her throne.” It was a good price, surprisingly easy to put together (I didn’t even swear once), and it feels well-made and strong enough to survive her marathon TV sessions. Bonus: she swivels to face whoever’s talking like a Bond villain.

Poor Quality
Very poor quality and was impossible to build because one of the metal pipes under the arm rest was fowled on the inside with weld spatter meaning the bolt could not properly align. Also the cable connecting the hand lever to the foot rest was badly fitted and so does not return properly, meaning after each use you have to manually reposition the clasp under the chair. Customer support required me to send a video showing the problem, however after wasting hours trying to compress the video enough to email to them I was unable to do so. I did send some pictures but they insisted that I send video evidence however I cannot produce video small enough in size to be emailed. I am very disappointed and will not buy from them again.
